Which coins have innovative features? I understand that Bitcoin only was really innovative, i've heard about DARK also. What about other coins?

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

IMO, the only remarkably innovative coin (besides BTC obviously) is Namecoin. They actually added functionality, and that's something you don't see here much.

Ok, NMC is innovative in the way you get special domains, HUC is innovative in a context of mining, but which one offer really something new and better in a context of payment?

How are all the other coins that have implemented PoS, asset exchanges, anonymous transactions ect. not innovative? I think there have been lots of very innovative features. Namecoin is also innovative of course, but so are all these others in my opinion.

I would pick Primecoin over that. For once energy is not just randomly wasted but used for some useful work.
