I would like to suggest adding TIT Coin to voting list. It's been around for a while, and now some people from adult entertainment industry started accepting it for their services. Negotiations between dev team and adult entertainment industry are continuing. I believe this coin will become more interesting in near future.

Thank you,
Nemanja Nikolic

a Titcoin fork is coming very soon. We will announce the approximate time but it will likely be within the next week or sooner.
There will be 2 updates in the fork:
1) Digishield
2) reduced block time

dev, or anyone on here with CentOS 6.5, can you write an autogen.sh and configure.ac for centos?

https://github.com/dogecoin/dogecoin/blob/master/configure.ac

https://github.com/dogecoin/dogecoin/blob/master/autogen.sh

^ this is what i mean. CentOS installs are difficult sometimes, this will help exchanges and pools running CentOS

this is what auto-install gist looks like after those are complete:

https://gist.github.com/patricklodder/c7c067cc831f0d3190c2#file-build-dogecoin-sh

been having a hell of a time compiling this, as .tar files do not work with centos as-is.

forwarded your question to Edward and the dev, not sure whether he can do that though. I'll put the answer here when I get it.

There are 3 mirror links to download the wallet in case one is broken. They all appear to be working at the moment:

https://mega.co.nz/#!6FVSyRAC!idAz8_ErZbLjqvJXCO4xbmy3_eaedWXjIdYqRJhpHno
http://www.fileswap.com/dl/piAROA4K90
https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B9XNFnCBTpDWVlZpbkdKakduRFU/edit?usp=sharing

Please, please, please Backup your current wallet.dat file before making this update. In your current wallet, under the File menu, the first option is Backup. Save that file someplace safe. Technically if you just replace your old wallet with your new wallet, you won't even be touching your existing .dat file. But it's better to be safe than sorry.

As for the 2 main fork updates, Digishield is meant to prevent the difficulty spike we saw during the July retarget which caused Titcoin transactions to grind to a snails pace over the last month. It will give a more accurate difficulty score based on current network hashrate so blocks will be found at a steady pace. This will also prevent multi-pools from slamming into Titcoin pushing the difficulty up before they jump out.

The block/time was also reduced. Long story short, merchant transactions were timing out which made us realize in order for Titcoin to be a true transactional currency, we need to speed this up. A stripper getting a Titcoin donation shouldn't have to wait 30 mins. This update drops the time to wait for a transaction to around 5 mins which is much more reasonable... especially for in person POS transactions.

The obvious drawback is it does mean more blocks will be found going forward. In theory, that may lead to a drop in per/coin price going forward. However, we believe the current price is artificially low anyways. Over the last 50 days when hardly any blocks were being found, the price should've skyrocketed due to low supply... but it didn't. The current price is purely based off speculation, and once we have sites accepting Titcoin, it will be easier to measure the true value. But the good news in all of this is if you're a dedicated Titcoin miner, you will be earning much more Titcoins going forward. So any decrease in price will be offset by the fact that you'll have much more Titcoins in your wallet.

Ideally this will be the only fork we do (at least for a long time). We're in this for the long haul and want to smartly put all the pieces together to create a stable currency going forward. Thanks for being patient during our growing pains.

I disagree, Bob Guccione at one point was worth 400 million dollars and his son Nicky who is backing this coin was his favorite, so one can only guess how much he is worth and plans to invest to make this coin work...

+1 This coin addresses the largest online industry of all time. The huge amount of media coverage it's getting and the transaction speed  (when compared to btc) will definitely make this a very, very valuable asset.
