This is what I said a few days ago, and this is exactly what happened.

Don't be fooled by this, allowing bids by PM means OP need not sell the account if bids on the thread do not meet his expected price, anyone can register a newbie account and place a higher bid. This is pointless.

Do not expect any replies from OP. Give him bad rep if you want, it is equally pointless.
