Hi there,

I have 8.800 KH/s Scrypt GPU miner and I am wondering where to point my miners for best profits ( scrypt-n, x11, x13 or NiceHash MultiAlgo ) ?

According to poolpicker.eu there are much better places to GPU mine right now, thing is I don't know how to set up my BAMT & Config Files to do so..

Can someone PLEASE help me out here, I would like to be more profitable with my miners..

I run BAMT and after I purchased my Miners all I had to do is to edit my config file in BAMT with my BTC address and pool data to mine on clevermining..

What do I need to do to be able to mine another Algo ?

Any help is appreciated..

TradeMyBit is a good pool with a large variety of coins/algos to mine. Best to mine either X11 or X13 on there and auto exchange feature to auto trade for BTC.

For Scrypt-N, find a pool that does merge mining with Vert and Monocle/Pharallax.

Otherwise, you can also mine CryptoNight coins, ie. FCN,XMR,XDN,QCN,BCN and/or AEON. You can FCN merge mine on minergate with either XMR,XDN,QCN or BCN and use Claymore's CryptoNote GPU miner.

For Example, I found this on NiceHash MultiAlgo Mining ( BETA )..
What do You think about this..Is this the MOST PROFITABLE option for a GPU Miner Today ?

They say : Make sure you're using the latest sgminer-5.0 with algorithm-switching support - GET IT HERE

And the Link goes here : https://www.nicehash.com/software/#sgminer

But I really don't know which one to use and how to download/start the new Miner software on my BAMT Rigs to be able to mine other algos..

Once more, this is the CLOSEST I could find to understand how to set it up..

P.s. Would be GREAT if this sgminer 5.0 is able to FINALLY mine any algo so I could also use them to mine anywhere else, not just on NiceHash by just editing the CONFIG file with new data ( Vercoin, x11,x13 coins etc. )..

Any Help is HIGHLY appreciated..

Thanks for the answer, really appreciate it..I am already using Poolpicker.eu

My question was HOW TO SET UP my BAMT to be able to Mine another algorithm based on the poolpicker.eu profitability..

So far all I can Mine is Scrypt with my Mining Rigs.
I got them each with BAMT on USB Stick connected to motherboard, and with sgminer 4.0.0 as mining software

Once more, when I purchased the rigs all I had to do is to change BTC address and pool data in BAMT config file and I was able to mine..

Now Scrypt is not more so profitable for GPU Miners and I would like to SWITCH to another algo to make a bit more profit ( With my Free Electricity ).

So my questions is : How can I Set Up my BAMT to be able to mine another Algo ( x11, x13, scrypt-n, og etc.. ) ??

Thanks for any STEP BY STEP instructions on how to switch my GPU Miners to the most profitable algorithm right now..

BAMT is a Linux distro. So depending if the version you have is 32/64 bit, just download the linux version of SGminer. Or you can update via terminal.

Since your not good with BAMT, why not use window first until you learn more?

You have to use the sudo get-app command, something like that. I haven't used Linux for nearly a year. Google it...The update will happen via the github.

i can't, sorry gave up on bamt for driver reasons on my older cards.

You should search for .conf files for bamt.

they will look like the one you posted.

here is one of mine for sgminer on windows. it's probably imperfect, but it works

{
"pools" : [
   {
      "url" : "stratum+tcp://axis-stratum.pool.mn:7852",
      "user" : "xxxxxx",

],
"api-allow" : "W:127.0.0.1",
"api-listen" : true,
"api-mcast-port" : "4028",
"api-port" : "4028",
"expiry" : "30",
"kernel-path" : "/usr/local/bin",
"log" : "5",

"auto-fan" : true,
"gpu-engine" : "900",
"gpu-platform" : "0",
"gpu-memclock" : "1300",
"intensity" : "18",
"gpu-threads" : "1",
"kernel" : "x13modold",

"rawintensity" : "0",
"failover-switch-delay" : "60",
"auato-fan" : true,
"no-pool-disable" : true,
"tcp-keepalive" : "30",
}

the settings mem, engine, threads, worksize, thread concurrency, intensity, etc are all specific to your gpu. you should be able to find examples by searching.

if i am mining x13 i need to designate the x13mod kernel, and specify its location( bin folder).

i think the api stuff was inserted by cgwatcher, an overseer program.

hope this helps. someone using bamt could help you better

oh, for me i have to save the file in the folder with sgminer and name it sgminer.conf

i'm really not the right person to try to help you with it, but i feel your frustration.

i'm pretty sure you need to download the recommended sg version.

put it wherever your other  miner is and start it the same way.

the maurucoin algo is the x13 and the darkcoin is x11.

play with that conf file, or whatever it's called in linux till you get some shares.

maybe don't try actively switching till you can get going on a single algo at a single pool.

those files are very punctuation sensitive so if you delete anything make sure you get the commas and quotes right.

use whatever specs for memclock, etc that came with the miners.

good luck
