Seems more logical that you copied all the proposed ideas and started requesting money from strangers with the intent to defraud them via an "IPO".

I agree. It is one of many red flags for you to claim you've never seen that thread. You came up with this idea and did not to do any market research to see if others had done similar.  Market research is important to success of legitimate projects. For P&D it is not as relevant.

Have you considered CSO item exchange/key exchange as well? It could act as a strong competitor for the steam marketplace, which limits many users due to 1) forfeiture of credit cards details and 2) 15% tax on item sales.

Using CSO for item exchange will really epitomize the use of cryptocurrency and its advantage over transaction fees.

That would be a great idea, though as I know so far we can't build our own item exchange b/c Steam has the control of the game content, but it's worth to figure out a way to make it happen!
