For me:

bitcoin is the mark of the beast, and will play a major role on the Antichrist's reigns

Two I created:

1)Satoshi is Theymos, and Theymos is Satoshi:

why would Satoshi disappear in thin air, and leave the forum to some random guy? Theymos is Satoshi with another identity, he did it because he was tired of thousands of newbie's poking him with questions, and before the secret service guys would start to make a profile and find him, if he was going to keep posting.

2) In this forum there is a proof of the hellish bounds of bitcoin. Why the name bitcoin talk? Its too similar to bitcoin temptation, bitcoin is made to attract all the greedy people into and condemn them. Like the one ring that seduce all only to imprison them all.

Hidden in the forum's source code there is a cryptography puzzle that when solved will give access to the subforum where the Illuminati and all the satanic cults in the world discuss about the rise of bitcoin and about the coming of the Antichrist's. The one that solves it will have a central hole in the Antichrist's reign(since all bitcoin's users are greedy bastards, no one would refuse that).

motivation: some silly topic in the meta forum asking why the name bitcointalk

Cool  When I put these glasses on I can see "them" Shocked and when I take the glasses off "they" look normal

The Gooberment created Bitcoin so they could have a traceable, digital, footprint of every finical transaction every body will ever make. Plus there are drones flying over the homes of any one who uses Bitcoin because you have been branded an anti Gooberment activist.

How come this only sounds right when I am wearing the aluminum foil hat?

My favorite personal story is when I told a friend at work about Bitcoin and that I am mining it. He says "man that sounds like a Ponzi Scheme"…..two days later he informs me he has purchased 6 ant miner S1's  Shocked

(From the view of GOX)
MT. Gox has been playing the BTC price since they started until mid FEB when BTC did not crash.. The thing though is Gox never had full control like they thought they did.. Running pump and dumps for their friends, fractional reserve banking...  They would buy, rise up, dump.. but.. it never went back to where it started.  Gox didn't care it was working fine.. Then.. it started to go bad.. they pumped it up to $250!! YA time to kill.. oh shit.. it's not going below $50. .shit shit shit shit shit shit shit... Well pump it again huge and dump it so hard it will collspe.. if ppl find out we are running a Fractional reserve like the Fed we are in BIG trouble...  Run the price up...... kk now we dump.. we need the price to go sub $50 remeber guys.  Shiittttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttt it's not diving... quick get our friends we are pumping for to spread FUD.. great look at that price plumet we'll be sub $50 in NO TIME!..  Uh oh.. it's holding again.. more fud more fud!!  Nice we got it below $400 it's done.. uh oh... it's above $400 again in less than 8 hours... this is not good...

LAWSUIT COMMENCES, Gox completely proven to be insolvent.

Karples comes to the understanding BTC was never completely in his control and his game is over, operation extract coins is implymented, Karples is currently hoping his back up plan will work and he will come out of this with almost no jail time and a massive amount of BTC.

^^^^^Epic conspiracy Grin Grin Grin

Since my last post got deleted I had to repost…I guess I have to explain it. ^^^^ are arrows pointing up so I did not have to quote the entire message I was referring to. "Epic Conspiracy" means I thought that particular conspiracy was "epic" and the " Grin Grin Grin"  means I was laughing and got some entertainment from the post …enough to make me smile 3 times.

So to delete my post be cause of "lack or relevancy related to the topic" in this particular thread is simply ridiculous. Seriously mod…switch to decaf

DirtFighter - you need to read up a little on BTC history since you may not know the infamous Trendon Shavers.

I actually came up with that conspiracy idea and posted it on BTCe trollbox over 1 year ago.  Was good for a lot of laughs!

I do not know the infamous Trendon Shavers. Seems I have a mystery to look into now. I am relatively "new" to all this but it has been a whirl wind romance for the last month and a half. I can't get her (BTC) off my mind  Cheesy

ConspiracyMonger.

Well, in a way Bitcoin is over 15 years old if you consider the building blocks of bitcoin like Hashcash and Wei Dai's original concept.

Yes, and that Satoshi commented on both of them and had the concept of bitcoin close to perfected back in 98 when he was discussing it with Adam Back and Wei Dai.

Is there record of him on the mailing list or usenet as far back as 98? Or did he just discuss the concepts with them years after the fact?
