you mean like
%appdata%/MJcoin (if you're using windows)
you probably have to create it.

Anyone else having to restart their miner every few minutes? Gets stuck in a loop of Network difficulty changed to ### Stratum detected a new block over and over and stops finding any shares. Exact same bat file, obviously with different pool info works fine on a few other scrypt coins.

The number of premined coins are: 13,125,000

That's 1.75% based on the developer's claim that there will be 750,000,000 coins after 40 years.

I'm glad I didn't mine this coin.

They are all in block 1.

Here's the code that proves it (in main.cpp):

Code:
int64_t GetProofOfWorkReward(int64_t nFees)
{
    if (pindexBest->nHeight == 1)
      {
        int64_t nSubsidy = 13125000 * COIN;

Thanks acousticdank, this is closer to helping, let me ask in different manner. lets say that I have never had to code a wallet that did not sync, ever, how would you go about explaining to someone how to fix the problem...

Create a new text file in the directory users/(your user name)/appdata/roaming/mjcoin and call it mjcoin.conf with the info from the first page.

Oh and close and restart the wallet after the file is in place.

Hey bro you were the one acting a little like a wad with your over sized font and asking like people must bow down to your request for help.  People were very busy trying to get things up and running and dealing with the fork. Your post got missed.  If you could have ask like a normal person I would have provided you a complete answer. I knew what you were asking. You are not the first nor the last that will run into this issue. Just because I started making post on here today does not mean I am new to this place or mining. Wouldn't prisonn be for those that can't read or follow simple directions? Right Inmate #12345.conf

So how about we drop this and move on to making coins. Ya good now?

So the premine when PoW ends is effectively 17,5% then? Brilliant.

Yep.

Even the 750 million number isn't honest. I calculated about 554 million:

75000000×(1+5÷52÷100)^(40×52)

So even if it's OK to use the value including 40 years of POS, the premine is still inflated:

750/554 = approx 1.35

So it's inflated by 35%

Instead of 1.75% the premine is about 2.37%

"i have attempted that.  yet still no go. should I delete any files that are already in the /mjoin folder first?"

Did you happen to extract the MJcoin folder from the Rar file or did you just click the exe first? Also do you have the folder set to display the file extensions so you can truly create the .conf part and not have a file named mjcoin.conf.text

My files worked just as he explained earlier. C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\MJCoin

this would be of greater help,...would you post a photo image of your opened /mjcoin directory. I could go from there.  thanks

you could try deleting everything in the folder.  but if you already sent some coins, don't delete wallet.dat, copy it to another area.

Why is there so many errors? minerpools is at 98.11 Efficiency and Hardcoreminers is a bit better at 99.61. 102,399 errors out 26,777,122. Guess I have gotten spoiled on other coins. Does this match up to what others have seen on other launches? Excluding Square of course
