one of my addresses received so much spam I had to abandon it. I think it was in a leak somewhere, and now spammers are all over it with attachments.
Most popular now seems to be to send me notices to appear in court, and previously it was about shipments and failed payments, and ofcourse the off offers of buying viagra. I wonder how successful those spammers are. They have to be successful, or otherwise they would never be doing what they're doing.

Its pretty much law of averages.
You spam like 1,000 you`ll maybe get 2 or 3.

I use my fake email for registration on a bunch of websites. But for the important online shops or forum i use my real e-mail. It gives me extra spam filter

Yup, the best way to fight with spam is to have few emails so you can use them for different purpose. At least have One for a job purpose, second for private and third for other stuff (forums, blogs, porn, etc.)

Yup, the best way to fight with spam is to have few emails so you can use them for different purpose. At least have One for a job purpose, second for private and third for other stuff (forums, blogs, porn, etc.) If you have a catch all setup, you can always create a new e-mail address, so if you register at e-commerce store supersavers.com, you can just register with an e-mail like supersaverscom-customer-no-spam@mydomain.com, so if you ever get any spam, you know where the leak is, and you can avoid tossing away a valuable e-mail address. If you however have one address you use everywhere and it leaks and starts getting onto spammers lists, then you are out of luck. Of course you can always have the e-mail spam filter take care of it, but I'm always afraid that some important mail will go to the spam filter.

What e-mail provider do you use if i may ask? I never had problems with spam on Gmail and i made like 20 registrations at least on my primary mail. Make sure you use good provider and you will be with no problems.

I also receive each day a lot of spam mails and i am sick and tired of these mails, electronical messages should not be used for this , for trying to fuck up the other ones computer ( viruses)or just to send them some shit....

One time I emailed lifehacker and told them one if their articles sucked. And they signed my email up for 100 random spam newsletters.

I use 10minutemail for doggy sites and a yahoo mail for registrations that I want to keep but will not care what they will send me. Then my primary gmail for serious stuff. I do not get much spam in my gmail. I guess google took care of all the virus infected ones and other obvious spam.

I use Gmail these days. I got the same like 50+ spam mail a day but after reporting it spam it automatically goes to my spam folder and that folder holds them for 30days and then they are gone you can change that in settings. I never looks at that junk folder anymore.
