[GRN] GraniteCoin heavy infringment!!!Be aware

Dear users,

Unfortunately I would like to alarm that GraniteCoin[GRN] should be delisted from @bitcointalk. Some infringment was recorded. The issue was made around 10000 block. This block was marked as special rewarded one! It was great oppurtunity to gain additional coins. Unfortunately some unusual things happened. Dev team has decided to switch  noods off, as a result he took over block 10000. The miners couldn't mine this block.

Official thread is self-moderated by GraniteDev, all post from injured party are deleted.  If everything is fine, why he is deleting without any explenation. Is there something to hide ?

Me and other miners are shocked. Can't belive what happened. All I want is to warm you and another institution/miners/community of cryptoworld. Beware !
Also in order that justice be done. Please cancel this suspicious coin from your list.

This guy wanted me to accept his amateur marketing offer. He had been sending me several pm's and I already informed him about my disinterest. Then he threatens FUD. I have some mixed feelings regarding 10000 block ...

There was a large reward for this block (I believe it was 100k),
and suddenly (around 9995 block) something strange had happened.
Neither of the pools could hit the blocks, and the hashrate was strangely low (looked like some of the pools were disconnected from the network).

I even don't know where the block was hit (which pool).
The strangest thing is, that someone (dev perhaps?!) was restarting the core nodes at 9995 block (why?!) ?!

I believe that dev should provide some explanation regarding this issue!

Be aware ,

Dev Team has made heavy infingment around 10000 block. As you know this block count 100000GRN. Nobody couldn't mine it directly, just Dev Team - They have switched  noods off.

The issue with fully evidence was reported to @bitcointalk and @exchange(Bittrex) @pools

Everything indicates that the dev stole 10,000 bonus block. He turned off the nods and no one could get it! Granite dev is plain cheater! Stay away and be careful!

It looks like GRN dev is a cheater, he has unfairly grabbed the bonus block for himself.

All community is lossy.

He does not want to answer on the accusation, just ignores it!

Turning off the seed nodes would not make any difference. the Nodes only exist for when new clients that come online and want to connect to the block chain. Once then have connected they pick up all the peer info for many other wallets on the network, then making the official seed nodes nodes not necessary. That is the point of why these wallets work as one great big web of connectivity.

There is no way that 1 person can take over a single block unless they pumped in 100s times more time hashing power just before that super block. and even then they have to be very lucky!

Also don't forget blocks can get orphaned too!

So how would you explain the situation, when one pool with large hash, which takes all of the blocks from 9980 to 9999 and from 10001 to 10006 and further was not able to get this bonus block ?

The hash power from this pool suddenly vaporize from network hashrate !?

Also a lot of peers were restarted at 9995 block, the same block which none of the pools couldn't confirmed to get for a few minutes ?

If u are familiar with any kind of cryptomining u should know that turning off nodes would'nt change anything in such situation. u are kind of scammer that want to spread fud about granite just to buy cheap or make fake proof of sth.

Take a look at first picture and give me answer - why block 10k is not on the list I dont have to be crypto expert to find out that it is too big coincidence...

Firstly no i am not the granite developer, but i have been in crypto land for a very long time. Trust me if i posted using my developer account the amount of FUD heading your way would not be worth it!

Simply running getpeerinfo does not prove the granite developer stopped the nodes, and i say it again ,it would not matter if he had done so...

In the source  code in 'net.cpp' there is a single seed node address

- Do a DNS lookup against seednode1.granitecoin.com = 23.97.134.59

- In your wallet run 'getpeerinfo' and look for that address only, since that is the only official seed node (According to the source code) make a note of the start height.

- Now delete your block chain data. if you know what I'm talking about you will know how to do this!

- Restart your wallet and you will see the start height of all the peers is actually much higher that when you last looked, my wallet currently shows block 12007 and so does the peer info and block explorer. This is because this type of coin coding is self aware of checkpoints and will pass that info around all the peers.



If you need any more proof than this, maybe ask the dev to supply a screen shot of the seednode wallet start time, this will prove beyond doubt if it has been restarted recently
