I have us $ in intersango how i get them out....

A friend off mine,  from thailand  have us $ in his account on Intersango , end try to get it out.

wen click withdraw there is Withdraw via Dwolla      [ is only for people form us ]

Then we try to click eu.. agh there is where u can fill in the bank info , so we did.
But...thai bank have no iban.
if u leave it out  ;  ERROR....
cant withdraw we try open ticket..no help for 3 days..

Hi omehenk,

generally if you have USD in an Intersango account then it would be transfered from Intersango's Chase bank account in the US.

As far as I know, you really do need an IBAN to be able to wire this money. This is a general requirement for any international banking, it's not really a fault or problem with Intersango.

You would face the same issues with CryptoXchange and Mt.Gox.

Being based in Thailand you may only have a domestic bank account, these are not designed/allowed to handle international payments. You may need to open an international bank account(one which can accept international payments in USD) with your national bank which is the Bank of Thailand (AFAIK). One of these accounts should have an IBAN.

Bear in mind that such a transfer usually is a little pricey so if the amount you are transferring is small it may not be worth it. Also bear in mind that because it's a transfer to Thailand from the US (because thats where Intersango's USD account is) you may be required to provide proof of your address and identity. I had to do this when I had Intersango do a transfer to me in China. They were very good about it though.

thailand doesn't use IBAN, only SWIFT, if you can enter your SWIFT then you "could" try entering your account number as an IBAN, SWIFT will be know your bank and details and since thailand doesn't use IBAN it won't be confirmed/needed

this is just what i read on another site about africa - so i wouldn't try it with a large amount of money for the first time - if at all

so mebe here...are folks who can help my friend out..

It should be there in the account section. Choose the USD account and then click withdraw. There should be a form asking for all the details.

personally I'd use the US$ to buy cheap BTC on Intersango atm in these present rather exceptional times & if you were lucky enough to get a (panic) seller by placing an attractive bid there, then wait a few days for this to all blow over while you look in to if it's easier to cash out via Mt.Gox or Bitcoinica, both in Asia so maybe helpful for Thailand, then hopefully next week you can then get more $ than by just withdrawing them by wire now, if your friend isn't in a mad rush that is

alternatively, once bought, ask Goat or someone in Thailand if they'd like to buy them for a local Thai bank transfer or Bhat cash

Edit: atm there's 60 BTC on offer there < $4.67 while Mt.Gox is @ $4.6 & highest Intersango bid is $4.5 so you might pick some up between say $4.55 & $4.65

in fact that's just reminded me when I went to see the price that I had left some GBP balance sitting on Intersango, *places bids*

But after all theses day i have given them my bank info, still nothing.!!
