Since there are Scrypt asics out there, I guess it's better to have lower difficulty for X13 algo to induce X13 miners to mine SING, considering higher electricity usage by GPUs.

The 'singularity' is when Artificial intelligence and humanity converge together into one.

It seems obvious that the reference in this coin name is the merging of x13 and Scrypt into one coin.

Or, in science...'singularity' is just a poor way of describing something we don't understand.  (the beginning of existence).

Finally, Singularity sounds like a more feasible and common name for a coin than 'panda'.
