Since this coin uses two algorithms, I expect it will attract both scrypt and X13 miners, consequently can become more popular. I'm waiting to see how much the price will be.

the difficulty of x13 is programmed to be higher simply because you have greater hash. In the scenario we have at the moment though, x13 is the easier choice.
Since there are Scrypt asics out there, I guess it's better to have lower difficulty for X13 algo to induce X13 miners to mine SING, considering higher electricity usage by GPUs.

Update: Just seems a weird coincidence Still - What on earth does "Singularity" have to do with this coin? There is NOTHING single about it. EDIT: clarification. I shared this name with a skype group of people a few days ago. So it just seems strange to all of a sudden have a new coin launch with that exact same name. Especially as its not really a name for a coin that would be used often (ie like Panda )

Especially as its not really a name for a coin that would be used often (ie like Panda ) The 'singularity' is when Artificial intelligence and humanity converge together into one. It seems obvious that the reference in this coin name is the merging of x13 and Scrypt into one coin. Or, in science...'singularity' is just a poor way of describing something we don't understand. (the beginning of existence). Finally, Singularity sounds like a more feasible and common name for a coin than 'panda'. Soooooo, ya.

First of all, this coin is anonymous using tor peers instead of real IP in getpeerinfo.
