Hi all,
Can someone explain why, although the minimum trade on Bitstamp used to be $0.86 (and is now $5), there are lots of transactions in the data provided by bitcoincharts.com that are below $0.86 and $5 respectively?
To see trade amount I take the CSV from bitcoincharts.com, and get dollars traded=price*volume
~21,300 out of the ~4 million or so trades before May 15, 2014 have dollars traded < $0.86 ~9600 trades after May 15, 2014 have dollars traded < $5
Is bitcoincharts just wrong, or is there some way to trade below the minimum amount?
Thanks!
