I'm right there with you.  They have a lot of show stopper type bugs in all of the leaked drivers I have been testing though.  The 12.2 pre-certified, which actually show as 12.3 in CCC are not bad.  Definitely better than the RC11 drivers.

AMD needs a new company motto.

AMD: dragging customers through mud every single time.
BECAUSE WE CAN
®

Really, the driver team are outdoing their normal selves.

Yah well 12.2 has to come before 12.3.

IDK if you want to try leaked drivers pretty much this is the place to get them.

I'm currently using the ones in AMD Catalyst 12.x (8.960.0 February 28) Unofficial BETA.

They will release fglrx 12.2 when you work on optimizing for the 7970.

a) I did work on it, conquering 2.6 was the first step
b) 12.2 is now out: its slower.

What speeds do you get on your 7970?

Eh?  Wasn't there a donation thread?  Is it taking forever to get there, or was it never shipped?

I think by "get it" he means when he comes to an epiphany and creates a kernel with something much higher than normal.

There was a donation thread, but I sat on the donations until AMD decided to fix their shit. Now that they have, I'm free to finally order it.
