Man Straps a Cruise Missile To His Chevy ImpalaIntrigued, he just so happened to come across a cruise-missile engine and a '67 Chevy Impala. He won't say where he got the missile engine, which should worry us all.
"When you get a cruise-missile engine," he said, "You don't reveal your source. That's confidential." The above inspired me to share with you a simple commercial idea. Picture, if you will, a collage of video shorts depicting individuals standing (or sitting) next to items they've purchased: some common; some mundane; and one out of the ordinary. The only word uttered from their lips is "Bitcoin." At the end of the commercial, simply show the Bitcoin logo and perhaps the name of the entity that created the ad. Useless, indeed! But it was purchased with Bitcoin. (edited grammar since I was quoted)

Useless, indeed! But it was purchased with Bitcoin. (FTFM)Sure sure... Fool me once..... Seriously, it wasn't purchased with Bitcoin, but as I've presented in the OP, this is a commercial ad idea, where the guy is standing next to his rocket car and utters the word "Bitcoin." As in 'truth in advertising', although he'll be insinuating that he purchased it with Bitcoin, the truth of the matter is is that he's just standing next to car and opt to utter "Bitcoin." He could easily say "eBay." See how powerful the ad idea is? Correct me if I'm wrong, anybody. I can hardly think of one commercial example that is 100% factual. ~Bruno~

10 GPM and the windshield gets hot. LOL. Was this guy ever an engineer for the Airforce? Willing to strap a jet engine onto anything to see how fast it can fly. The ad idea would work. Coca-cola does it, why not Bitcoin.

For Bitcoin to be a true global currency the value of BTC needs always to rise. If BTC became the global currency & money supply = 100 Trillion then ⊅1.00 BTC = $4,761,904.76. P2Pool Server List | How To's and Guides Mega List | 1 EndfedSryGUZK9sPrdvxHntYzv2EBexGA

Well, there was someone who purchased a jet from the USAF because it had lost a blade. He got it as junk/scrap, but noticed the blade count was n/3 and removed two more to rebalance it. I'd have to check the source, but he annoyed the neighbours. When the G-men turned up wanting to know where he got the restricted high tech device he showed them the official receipt and told them to f-off. (still hunting for the reference, but did find the Australian who holds the water speed record got his jet for $69)

Yes, the US government sells all kinds of wacky crap like this all the time. Check out http://www.dispositionservices.dla.mil/ http://gsaauctions.gov/gsaauctions/gsaauctions/ or http://www.govliquidation.com/ and you will see everything from undercover cop cars, a demilitarized Lear Jet or a set of brand new Hawker Jump Jets parts you could start to assemble your own from. I purchased several lots of SCSI 1 GB drives from NASA years ago, and got 40 21" Apple Macintosh monitors thrown in at pick-up. I also got 125 Sun Ultra 10 workstations for $1 each. There's all kinds of fun stuff to buy dirt cheap when Uncle Sugar decides he needs a new toy.
