Thanks for the post.
BFL has nothing to lose right now offering a refund as demand > supply. That said, good on them for offering it for missing the quoted delivery window.
Has any order ever met the quoted delivery window?

imagine how many MORE orders they would be getting if they could produce these faster. I would probably buy a bunch more, but there is no sense tying up another few thousand for 2+ months right now.

We still haven't confirmed that we aren't in scam phase part 2, granted it would be one hell of an elaborate scam. However, we may be in the part where they release a few success stories, and then get a crap ton of orders. Maybe even a mini rig box or two? Has anyone received a box in the month of April yet? I was told mine would be here in another week or two, so fingers crossed! But there are several people ahead of me in cue...

I am wondering what BFL are telling us with this? Are the 'new' singles hotter? Are they less thermally reliable? Will this be the solution to the mini-rig? Or is this just for the sheer all out fancy geek pr0n? BFL, I will take 100 please!

I think they've said that there won't be a "new single", but that will probably go in one of the multi-device rigs. Hmmm, wonder if we can have it as an aftermarket option?

It's definatelly worth putting on R&D list.

Order date (1): 1/6/12 Ship date: 4/10/12 Wow... just starting on the January orders? That's a disappointment... OTOH, if Sonny expects to hit a Feb 22nd order by the end of the month, that means they are catching up on orders. 2 months worth of orders shipped in 1 month.

Wow, they blew through a week's worth of January orders in a day? Granted, I'm sure the order density is higher in February when there were more reports of people receiving them, but still, glad to see progress is being made.

That's 18,000 years from now. I realized that there would be some shipping delay, but 18,000 years - that's just cruel, man.
