Hi Guys, I think our chances to get our Vipers now look very slim as the 15th of July is in 9 days and still no news of Alpha Technologies.

In case they do not deliver, we will need to engage in a class action to try to get a refund, and I think the earlier we start the process, the better.

Someone has some experience on this subject ? Do they know some good lawyers company in the UK for this kind of situations ?

I would look for who represented the lawsuits against BFL, Hashfast, and Cointerra.  They probably have the most experience in this matter as they have already been through it enough.

Make sense. The only thing is that they should be US based I think. Here Alpha Technologies is UK based so it could make more sense to hire a UK lawfirm. But may be these firms have offices in the US and the UK. I will have a look. Many thanks.

What country, or if in the U.S. which state are you in?  I think you'd have to sue from the U.K. or from where you are.

Does the UK even have something like a "class action" lawsuit?

Carey Been emailed me back and said:
"Thank you for contacting me about Alpha Technologies.  Unfortunately I do not know any class action attorneys in the UK.  It might be possible for you to sue them [...] where [...] you are located, but we are not licensed to practice law in the state [removed.]  Do you have any idea how many machines Alpha Technologies has sold in the United States?"

I am not familiar with this issue. However, based on what I know, there are elements of fraud here, right?
If so, why are you pursuing a civil suit instead of filing criminal charges?

I'm similarly disappointed.

I transferred money to their account about three month ago and still they tell that they cannot find any reference.

I sent them reference numbers and screenshots, then it takes them two weeks to responds: Sorry we cannot trace your transaction, I double check, I send it again, they ask again, ... the same game.

I am a kind of sad, because, I think that those are just some young guys trying honestly to build up a business. However, if they are not able to bookkeep their finances, then this asks for some serious actions.

If there is some collective action, I would be in support of it.

Best Regards

I hope this post helps you guys out.  I never understood how Fiaz figured out that their clients were business customers only.  I finally saw what he was quotes.  The HMRC guidance on crpyto currencies.  His supportive argument has no legs to stand on because the HMRC guidance for mining cryptocurrencies targets all miners individual and corporate and makes not distinction that miners are specifically businesses.  If this lawsuit went to to court it would be very difficult for Alpha Technology to prove the HMRC specifies miners as businesses.

All clients of Alpha Technology are considered consumers because Alpha Technology did not ask not validate if you were a business or an individual upon ordering.  You are under full legal protection of UK Consumer law and entitled to 100% of your money back.

Just for anyone coming and browsing over what they can do about Alpha scamming them (I tried to post the truth for others to avoid losing the rest of their 70% miner funds, and got nothing but banned immediately), and luckily was contacted by several people, and check this out for your actions:

Join and list any actions taken, or that can be taken to grow the body of members for a class action lawsuit.

Sucks to hear what is going on with these guys. I was very close to investing myself, but then I kept thinking of all the problems with miner orders in the past so I held off.

I think legal action is your best option as it is very unlikely you will get your miners in time to even get a ROI.

Fibonacci, Flower Tech, Alpha.... once again we have companies just talking out of their asses, taking people's money and delivering nothing.

Satoshi must be sick to his stomach wherever he is.

Hi Guys,  I tried to do a chargeback to recoup part of my money but no luck so far.  The money had been frozen by PayPal but I still received nothing.

I have now initiated a court claim via the money claim online website.  I also contacted the UK Trading Standards and Action Fraud to report the situation.

I really advise everyone to do a court claim online.  The Consumer Citizen Advice Bureau told me to do this.

I will let you know as soon as I have news.
