but couldn't your computer be compromised with those browsers?  that is why I use firefox with no script.  I heard that by going to the wrong website on accident, your computer could be easily hacked.

Chrome is most Popular same as Justin Bieber   ,
Firefox is one of the most Reliable
Look at this POLL Conducted on similar topic .
then there are few other like TOR or lynx preferred for particular tasks.

Technically it's not even a browser on its own but surely a lot more then what you mentioned.

I like Chrome because every tab is a separate process, so if it crashes you don't have to close the whole browser. I have like 50 tabs open at the same time so it's really helpful Tongue

Google Chrome as it takes up the least monitor space.

The built-in option to disable Javascrypt on Google Chrome works quite well, and when you're on trusted sites you just have to click a button to activate scrypts again and it will memorize the setting.

I also use Firefox with NoScript, but I've never noticed any issues with the plugin. Have you tried visiting the site after temporarily disabling NoScript and seeing if the problems remain? Perhaps it is due to other configurations you have on the browser.

Last I checked, there wasn't much of a difference between both browser's interfaces (though that was a couple of updates back, I admit Smiley).

Still, I find it interesting that many users prefer something less secure and at best slightly faster in some areas, to a good all around browser like Firefox, which does keep its users privacy and security in mind.
