There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

Pre-sale results:

wow. so for 1.6BTC 10% of Revocoin was purchased by a few people.

thats basically a 10% premine as obviously the devs were in on the IPO to get to the 2.5mil RVC in the first block

FFS

i see some familiar names.

Hah! Well, are you surprised? Obviously those invested in the coin are going to stick around.

There was nothing hidden about the IPO. It was in the OP for two weeks! That's longer than the VIA IPO, the ICB IPO, and about the same time as the Syscoin IPO.

but whats the point of an IPO for 1.6BTC?  And one that gives away 10% of the coin to 6 people?

Dev surely was thinking he will get more ipo btc. But 10 % really much. Do 10% will be dumped now.. But after that coin can work normal..
