I do 20 hours of rowing fitness a week.
This includes 30 minute ergs, 2k ergs, rowing sessions (on water), jogs, gym sessions (weights, squats, lunges, bench press/pull, core)
I suggest jogging or walking everyday could eventually get you fit. Keep an eye on your diet, you should be eating something following these guidelines:
45% to 65% of calories eaten should come from carbohydrates. 20% to 35% of calories eaten should come from fat. 10% to 35% of calories eaten should come from protein
You need carbohydrates and fat for energy. Protein is for your muscle growth etc.
