What happened to the weekend dump? Grin

Weekend dump is a fallacy. There is no rule, written or not, that dictates that a weekend dump will occur. Dumps occur when those controlling the markets guide them.

There have been many weekends when no dumps have occurred, in fact, some weekends see the market thrive. Please don't make trading moves based on fallacies, it can leave you out of pocket, lining the pockets of whales in the process.

I don't see any reason to swing out of the $600-650 range in the foreseeable future
What's the next significant expected newsflow that can affect price?

It could still happen. There really wasn't one major bit of news that pushed us back into the $600s this last time, was there?  IMO, the overall market sentiment is getting a whole lot better

swing around $600-$650 is good form for bitcoin
at least bitcoin doesn't drop to $500-ish
still wait for another good news to fueling the price to $700 Grin

good news doesn't usually have immediate effects on bitcoin. generally events have greater impacts when they come to pass. example, the auction, everyone was scared about it but there wasn't a lot of movement after the initial panic until post auction when all the bears bought back in after they'd sold. i think movement will come from the influx in money coming from the GABI fund, 200 million proposed investment in the fund should move the price a bit, possibly cause panic buying and lead to a snowball effect
