What are some good pools out there?  I like PPS or small, start up pools with good bonus awards, bountys, etc.

What is the highest paying PPS pool out there?  Right now I am getting 0.0000328707

The person who finds me the best pool that I go to ... gets 1 BTC.

Thanks!

I buy and sell GPUs, most 5850s and 7970s.

Join GPUmax and use any other pool you like as backup. I recommended using P2Pool.

MTRed is also a nice PPS pool. 0% fees, nice interface with payouts on demand, that's my backup for GPUMax.

p2pool easily - No downtime (its peer-2-peer, right?), no fees, all transaction costs are shared as well. Pretty large now, so variance gets smaller and smaller. There were donations spread out too, which is currently under redesign and will come back.

All these make p2pool the best paying pool in the long term. Sure, others might offer bounties or boni in the first weeks, but in the long run p2pool pays more.
And you get the nice feeling helping Bitcoin to re-decentralize again! :-)

(Setup your own p2pool node for full control or join one of the several public p2pool nodes)

Ente

Edit:
Use that one Bitcoin to test the multi-donation when it comes back! ;-)

Has anyone successfully set up P2Pool as a GPUmax backup?

I think that it is impossible to join GPUMax... I already have tried, almost two months ago, didn't receive anything until now.

Pirate does not even respond my PMs anymore... So, I give it up without even trying it.

I have stay with 3 options:

1- P2Pool
2- EclipseMC
3- BitParking

Best,
Thiago

P2Pool is not supported, see the first post.

Likely because of the share difficulty. To get around this, you would need to set up a proxy that provided diff 1 shares, but you would have to a) see if it would be allowed to be added (not sure how the approval process happens/works), and b) have a good enough server to handle between 400 and 800 gigahashes per second thrown at it.

I am interested in this P2Pool ...

Already tried GPUMax, I don't like how when they lease my hash ... my fans freak out for 10-20 seconds on my cards and that happens every 5 minutes or so.  And when the fans are freaking out, my miners don't mine for a good 10-20 seconds, times the 150 times it happens per day, I think defeats the purpose of leasing.

I buy and sell GPUs, most 5850s and 7970s.

Well, I tried GPUMax and I hate it.  They always have problems.

Too lazy for P2Pool and don't like the P2Pool pools that you can just join.  I don't make crap for money.

None of the other pools listed pay more per share then ABCPool so I just stay there for now.

STILL WILLING TO PAY 1 BTC FOR SOMEONE THAT FINDS ME A POOL WITH BETTER PPS THEN (BTC 0.0000312121)

Thanks!

Can you beat ABC right now?  What is your PPS rate?  I need stability too man ABC hardly ever goes down.  I do this for a living and need steady income.
