I'd suggest people use Venmo. perhaps i'm just thick, but after cruising the Venmo website i see no way to put in Bitcoin and get out USD. could you point me to where that is covered on the Venmo site? |

Venmo appears to be in pipe-dream, spam-the-forums stage. To be honest, I'm still not entirely sure what it is they do, but it definitely doesn't involve trading BTC for USD at the moment. |

Venmo appears to be in pipe-dream, spam-the-forums stage. To be honest, I'm still not entirely sure what it is they do, but it definitely doesn't involve trading BTC for USD at the moment. It's a service to move money from Person A to Person B. It seems like it would work in theory...but there's no way to put in BTC and get out USD, or vice versa. Like anything, using this would involve a degree of trust. |

Venmo itself doesn't sell bitcoin, but you can suggest to your friendly neighborhood exchangers to sell you bitcoin with it.

I wouldn't know how to cash out of bitcoins, I've never done it. However, if anyone here lives in Kentucky, I'd be willing to pay you cash in person, if you are not too far.

Bitcoinmarket.com provides great service, it's a good alternative to Coinpal.
Just beware, if you are a seller, your bitcoins get "frozen" while the deal goes through.
Now you are in the buyers hands and it's up to them to complete (send payment) the transaction.
There is nothing that can make them keep their promise.
Problem is your money (bitcoins), stay frozen until they pay. So you can miss a good opportunity to sell them to someone else. You know how sensitive bitcoin market is.
I am currently in this situation. I got 10 bitcoins "frozen" since yesterday, cause my buyer is not paying still.
Here's some extract of our communication :
Me: Are you going to pay for the bitcoins or what ?
Let me know if you don't want them.
Him: Hi,
I'm new to the market and not sure how I can trust it.
So I'm stuck. I've sent an email to the admin of bitcoinmarket.com, I hope he takes some action on this.
