I think there are a few out there that can do well.

With that said, there are just too many shit coins coming out by the day. Pretty much if the "dev" has the name of the coin as their screen name, I pass up 99% of them.

Plus, people need stuff to mine, without the interest BTC would be on the slow track. Think of how many newbies coins like DOGE ( gag ) got into the crypto game....

not syscoin...it is next bitcoin

It is too late for it to become "the next Bitcoin". The network effect of Bitcoin and of the 10 or so major cryptocurrencies is too strong.

This is not a consumer technology, but an economy, there's no way that it can be easily surpassed.

- only bitcoin and litecoin are still known in public.. Why? Because it's just a copy / shit
- a lot of devs left... Some with a lot of money

My opinion:

I think that having so many alt coins may make it difficult to discover the actual good ones for someone that is new and just started with this.
Of course there are ranking websites that can help but so many pump and dumps...

Sure there may be sites that arbitrarily provide that information. But honestly, it doesn't help all too much since someone could just make a coin that avoids the negative points and still manage to be a pump and dump. If there is a bright side to all of this, is that it forces people to do their due diligence when learning about this scene.

yes yes. only one coin, just like everything else in life.

One Korea (best Korea), no other Korea
One type of Computer , no others
One operating system, no others
One article of cloth , no others
One Fiat , no others
One type of car , no others
One drink type , no others
One domestic pet, no others
One innovation . no others

If history has shown us anything is that humans only like one choice. flawless logic. absolutely not biased

 Cool

That's a great comparison!

And because altcoins offer to the users different communities, and technologies which fill different needs, it seems silly to say Bitcoin will be the only thriving crypto.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MQz0rIL8TB8 (english subs)

Why do people trust Guldencoin?

Much of the trust in Guldencoin comes from the fact that it requires no trust at all. Guldencoin is fully open-source and decentralized. This means that anyone has access to the entire source code at any time. Any developer in the world can therefore verify exactly how Guldencoin works. All transactions and guldencoins issued into existence can be transparently consulted in real-time by anyone. All payments can be made without reliance on a third party and the whole system is protected by heavily peer-reviewed cryptographic algorithms like those used for online banking. No organization or individual can control Guldencoin, and the network remains secure even if not all of its users can be trusted.

And the dutch people love the old Gulden not the euro

And because altcoins offer to the users different communities, and technologies which fill different needs, it seems silly to say Bitcoin will be the only thriving crypto.

There has to be at least one other thriving crypto or bitcoin will die.

It is critically important for businesses to compartmentalize their incoming and outgoing payment.

Right now the way to do that is to buy fresh coins for payments sent and sell incoming coins.

That way a competitor can't make small purchases and trace who your suppliers are.

But that way also depends upon fiat.

With a second thriving currency you can do the exchanges without involving fiat.

Uh...Fascinating?

Go keep on working on making that dream to the moon happen. I'll be watching from the sidelines. Actually, to be honest, I'll be pretty far from the sidelines, but you get what I mean.

This punk has launched another one called webcoin.  His name is carsen klock and he's launched at least nine of these worthless shitcoins in the last few months.

Would you list all the coins you launched so far?

Yes of course: My entry to the crypto-world in order is:
Timecoin (Scrypt based, terrible clone)
Matrixcoin (Sha256 based, terrible clone)
Hashcoin (X11 based, first animated logo, DGW V3, coin ended up forking due to no one updating to the latest wallet from all the FUD, coin could still work)
Dreamcoin (X11 based first PoW/PoS crypto I created, HUGE amount of FUD with threats, so I removed the coin to hurt the community because I was hurt, which was wrong, looks like community took it over though, still working)
Nebulacoin (X13 based PoW/PoS, Still lives on to this day)
Techcoin (X13 based PoW/PoS, Still lives on to this day, looks like the community is taking it over, fixing block times (it was too slow)).
Firecoin (X15 based first PoW/PoS, block times were faster, smoother launch, FUD killed it)
Isiscoin (X15 based PoW/PoS, smooth launch, hit Mintpal second day of ninja launch (No bribes were made), Premine was dumped before we hit Mintpal (which a lot of people thought i dumped on mintpal, I did not), HUGE FUD followed, along with government talk of Isiscoin, Death Threats, etc. Bad choice of name and bad launch date made me remove this coin, also because I do not support terrorism and that is what people were thinking. Just overall bad ideas on my end, My intention was the Egyptian god ISIS but as you all know, people twist things around)
Webcoin (X14 PoW/PoS, By far my best coin ever, Extremely stable, Smooth launch, Fair distribution)

Any other coin is not made by me, these are the only coins I have worked on.

Bitcoin is the best coin.  It's accepted at overstock.com, dell.com, newegg.com, tigerdirect.com, expedia.com, and the list goes on.

Yep rather buy Litecoin you mean the only shitcoin that is being holded on the second place

It seems silly to buy Litecoin. It seems really overvalued consider it has a smaller community and less good technology than many other coins, which have much more room for growth.

This is exactly what I was going to say, you completely beat me to it. Most of the new coins are garbage, but there are that 1% that actually have true innovation and good devs etc.

I believe one of these to be Monero. That's all I will say on this. But definitely don't fall victim to all of the nonsensical bs coins out nowadays, we would all be much better off if most of them fell by the wayside...
