can anyone provide bootstrap.dat?
having problems syncing? i get 2-3 connections but it's very painful on laptop, overheating causing shutting down after half hour I'm on an old laptop myself and I didnt have that issue thank god, but I wonder what we can do to remedy that problem. i fried this laptop on cpu mining:-) it's getting overheated very fast. Anyway i setup vps node (linux) it got synced in 10 mins, copied blk...dat files, ran wallet on laptop (win8) with -rescan and warning appeared ''Warning: Displayed transactions may not be correct! You may need to upgrade, or other nodes may need to upgrade.'' and wallet showing 23 weeks behind. I found python script for generating bootstrap.dat will try it later https://github.com/jgarzik/pynode/blob/master/mkbootstrap.py if it's compatible with tty Thanks for trying to work out this issue for this unique situation. What kind of laptop do you have? I may have some parts for ya to fixer up

I setup sha256 pool on tty.hashing.in it's NOMP. use on your own risk Thanks! I'll give it a try.

"difficulty_sha256d" : 7.16871583, "difficulty_scrypt" : 0.03775192, "difficulty_groestl" : 0.83975090, No not really considering the difficulties are wicked low. Make use of your low power mining devices now! I am using outdated asics to mine and getting blocks even with 70kh/. This will not last when real hashpower comes onboard.

Dev, I noticed that for the last day was mined 5654 blocks. It is a little strange because the block time is 60 second. This means that for a day should be mined only 1440 blocks. This is almost four times more. Is everything working properly? I based my calculations on the time of block 494517 and 500171.

I would assume because the network difficulty is so low. I've been mining at the sha256 pool for the last 3 days and I've seen the difficulty as low as 7.

I would assume because the netowork difficulty is so low. Because I've been mining at the sha256 pool for the last 3 days and I've seen the difficulty as low as 7. I've also been mining it too on and off, 8 GH/s SHA and 120 KH/s scrypt, not too much but still, my 8 GH/s has actually shown that I've found approx 20 blocks so far within the few hours.

Hello everyone! I am Melwinder, as you see by my username, I Am going to be apart of 5mil ( The Developer)'s team of doing a full Relaunch and Revival of TTY Trinity Coin, I am going to be in charge of putting together our website as long as I have the capability to do so and Community Specialist, which that would basically entitle me is I would be the one to do most of the postings of our new relaunch ideas, projects and estimated times for each event. I cannot give anymore details than that, we are working on a website right now, it's from a free website hoster so there is some restrictions however we are willing to work with whatever we can come up with, so I hope you all enjoy, we will be releasing some of our new relaunch projects and events in the next few weeks. Thank you! -Melwinder

Not yet, the Dev kinda fell out of contact a while back and he kinda lost interest, but now me and a couple of his friends are willing to help him with it, he is getting back into the coin and willing to do a full relaunch+revival of the coin that will include things such as Proof of Stake, Games, and other things If you want you can join our forums: http://trinity.lefora.com/That's to keep in contact with all 3 of us faster and easier. I am also trying to convince him to maybe even add more algo's like X11 + X13 to the list to attract more people.. Thank you -Melwinder

Hey everyone. I am looking at the code right now and I am going to test some changes to the difficulty adjustment in a testnet. I think this is a good change to think about considering the rate of blocks we are getting is rather fast. I would also like to know what people think about these: 1) Increasing total number of blocks and/or 2) Introducing Proof of Stake in some capacity.
I would appreciate the input. I am in the brainstorming process now and I would like to test a few things tonight.
Thanks! 5mil

I added a big picture of projected events and approx dates for some of the projects we intend to do to keep TTY Alive and kick off the relaunch. You can see the big picture on page 1 the first post, right before you see the coin specs Enjoy!

I'm now mining and put a miner in to match your hash so not to drive up the difficulty so we can crank out some coins.

i vote for PoS+PoW, forever why not. look at hyperstakes feature of max limit on staking blocks (it encourages distributed vs hoarded) also AuxPow is interesting
