Excellent news! What this enables now are startups that need some basic IT infrastructure that are in the Bitcoin Space to directly use their crowdfunded or VC (BTC) funded bitcoins for direct purchase of Dell hardware.

Pretty good news considering Dell are known for good quality (ish) computers and I will always accept a discount when paying for Bitcoin! Great stuff. I know where the majority of Bitcoiners will be getting their new computers this year.

It definitely is, others should catch on and follow their example.

Wow. First NewEgg and now Dell. That is pretty amazing. It's catching on now. Coinbase must have a good sales team.

I wonder if it's coinbase that is actively pursuing this sort of companies? If so, well done.

You can buy PC components ad stuff from Overclockers here in the UK too I believe.

I wonder when we're really gonna get the big news from Amazon or eBay. Surely it's only a matter of time.

Are they gonna keep a part of bitcoins they receive or are they going to dump them all for $$?

I assume the latter... just a retoric question.

Well they'll probably just get the fiat value from coinbase, though it's not impossible to keep some btc as that's what Overstock do. Regardless it's still great news for bitcoin whether they do or don't.

man, all this good news and the price still remains unchanged.. not complaining too much though, it will probably just make the next bull-run more explosive.

To be completely honest, Bitcoin getting accepted by more and more companies would not increase the price, if anything the price would decrease more since those companies immediately sell any bitcoins they acquire from users buying their products...The only way the price would increase is if a large amount of people decide to buy Bitcoin at relatively the same time. Other than that, it's all speculation and doesn't warrant a price increase.

NewEgg uses BitPay. Wink

Oh! Haha, I guess I must have misremembered.

Good to see both companies doing well anyway. Better than just having one dominate the large corporate scene for sure.
