I am also wondering about this coin. Pools don't seem to be supported yet so I'm not sure if the 57000-88000 hashes I'm getting are worth it.

How did you get the wallet?  I signed up, skipped the verification since it asked my social security number, but I don't see a link for the wallet.  If I have to provide an SSN for the wallet, then I guess I won't be mining this coin...

I didn't have to provide any information for the wallet.

Edit: Try downloading directly from the site here: https://www .anthemvault.com/media/uploads/inncoin-0.8.6.5a-win32-setup.exe

Caution! This is a direct download link! I had to put a space so it would not be flagged.

Where is the official ANN thread of this coin? I cant find it on here. Also, what algorithm uses? What gains can I expect with a old Q6600 CPU and not so old r7850 GPU? I guess about shit nothing but whatever.

Quote
(Reuters) - U.S. precious metals dealer Anthem Vault Inc said on Wednesday it has launched the first digital currency backed by physical gold, with an aim to increase the use of bullion as an accepted form of electronic money.

Las Vegas-based Anthem said it will launch 10 million "INNCoins" backed by 100 grams (3.5 ounces) of gold, with all coins expected to be in circulation by July 2015.

"It should make gold more acceptable as a form of currency by combining its appeal as a store of value and a much more efficient medium of exchange," said Anthem Blanchard, chief executive of Anthem Vault, who previously worked at online precious metals market GoldMoney.

Blanchard said Wednesday's launch was a promotional offering, and the company has plans to offer a full suite of virtual currencies backed by a larger amount of gold as well as other precious metals at the end of September.

What kind of hardware do you have? Does it take massive hash power to mine?

What's the current value of the coin? How can I exchange it for BTC?

From reading their website (link below), 1 INN equals 100,000th of a gram of gold, so the value will fluctuate as the price of gold does.  I like the thinking behind this coin, since it is actually backed up by a hard asset (gold). I have not seen a place to exchange INN for BTC.

I don't know man, this seems really sketchy to me.
