Announcement: We are getting too big lately. DOGE payout is going to be reduced by 20% due to the LTC/DOGE 51% concerns. This new policy will take effect on June 11.
Where will that extra 20% go, exactly? Your own coffers will be quite nicely filled with DOGE until people move their miners. If you're concerned about the 51% problem, you need to reduce the hash rate. We have been over paying the miners for months. Mining 1 LTC only generates ~500 merged DOGE, but we are paying 1000 using our own DOGE reserves in hope the future LTC halving to fix the payout ratio automatically. Everyday we have to buy 5 million DOGE from the market. Given the recent DOGE price spike at 0.0000007 BTC each, we are already having a minus fee on LTC pool. We are operating at a ~2% loss. Ok, so you've been giving miners a nice bit of bonus coin. I can only assume that you're hoping giving miners 160% instead of the 200% they've been getting will cause some of them to leave and thus alleviate your 51% problem. Do you have any further plans to mitigate the 51% problem should this approach fail to have the desired effect? We also have 4% fee on LTC. 300 extra DOGE is about the fee minus orphans/rejects. |

Any plans to make the web frontend acces better for non chinese miners?
A lot of timeout and others when I try to login or check the graph. Sometimes take 30 minutes for just a simple login.
Edit: I have connection problems on the stratum servers in the last few days. Are there any problems on the pool side?

We are increasing our Namecoin/Ixcoin/I0coin further. Now you can get 6 NMC + 6 IXC + 6 I0C + 5 HUC for every bitcoin mined. There is no payout threshold on these merged coins. As our litecoin pool, at 492 GH/s, is well over 40% of the network, Dogecoin payout will be decreased to LTC × 600 to reduce the 51% risk.

Sorry. Sorry? Is that all you have to say by almost causing thousands of successful double spends? This would have been worse than the MtGox failure and the march 2013 hardfork. If you are really that greedy to destroy all zeroconf transactions for a few extra bucks, please announce it before you do it.

I read your post about bad connectivity in china. Shouldn't that improve your situation?
How did you know we are not using it? |

Had a wallet for NMC and registered account at vircurex.com for receiving my daily IXC and I0C rewards. Thanks for adding new currencies rewards for miners  |

macbook-air, when i try to add I0C address i have error - Address format incorrect, i’m pretty sure the address is ok, its generated from cryptsy ? What should i do ? Can i use cryptsy for nmc and ixc addresses ? ps : my wrong... i was trying to add IOC not I0C coin address....  |
