OK. Got it, thank you. Looks promising, will try it for several days, if you pay what you claim, will stay with you.

Those numbers are what you are going to have at the best condition. Expect one percent lower due to stale and other reasons. Also please do set up a backup pool for your miners.

Sure. Thank you.

How long does it take the server to recognize the correct difficulty for your miner and send the info to adjust the miner software.

About 30 min for SP10.

That's pretty quick but SP10 puts out a lot of hashes. I ran a test on another pool with 40 Gh/s and it took 3 days before it got to Diff:32  and when it was first starting out at Diff 2 I swear I could hear my AP crying.

So far I have noticed 2 things:

1. 20 min hashrate is not working under workers tab. It will show 200gh different values every other second. If you keep refreshing it, you will know what I mean.

2. Pool is reporting more than 10% less hashrate, than on BTCGuild. Showing 10,536 instead of ~11,600. Hope this will get better by time.

That is a know issue. We have a higher share difficulty than many other pools, 20 minutes is not long enough for a reliable server-side hashrate estimate. You will see it is 10% less for a while, 10% more later. What is your username btw?

Sent a PM with the username, do not want it in public. I have pointed my miners to your pool 2 and half hours ago. What I do mean by incorrect 20 min hashrate is this:

UPDATE: Have you fixed something? Now my hashrate is showing correct 11,469. Thanks!

So, after testing F2Pool for more than 24H, I have found out, that I ended up earning almost same as with 90% luck at BTCGuild. I will take my chances with Guild, with a hope for a better luck. Because of high reject rates(almost 1%), the real F2Pool rate for 24H is BTC0.0268350870657541 per 1TH/s.

I wish you guys good luck, hope you will improve and have something better to offer. For now, you will be my first fail-over pool.

Cheers!

Here is a question?

What is up with the name Discus Fish?  Wink

I am sure it has some meaning in Chinese but I don't get it (being from New Zealand).  It does not appear in your blocks, I am just curious to find out how it came about.

Despite the chart, we are still 20% smaller than GHash.IO. We simply have better luck lately.

As I tend to pin tabs in chrome for my pools, it would be handy if you added a favicon

Sticking with the fish theme

Yesterday we mined block 313338 00000000000000000000b7de9e5c19e52be073156924b7cf235efb27ae8a202a, the block hash has 20 leading zeros, the most in bitcoin's history so far.

Interesting fun fact.

Question macbook-air: Are there any plans to expand the website, it's useful and efficient, but could use a few small additions.

Couple suggestions:

1. On the payout page, add the total revenue that can be seen on the home page
2. On the home page, add an option to see workers hashrates individually. Also, the 24 hours button, while it's clickable there isn't anything to change to, such as 48 hrs. or weekly hashrates.
3. Any namecoin mining?

Thanks for your consideration.

Google Translate gives "Fishpond" for the Chinese in the post title.  I have no idea how/why this pool is referred to as Discus Fish...

Before the pool was public they were known only by their coinbase signature, which was (from memory) 七彩神仙魚 .

I have a SCRYPT ASIC on Discus Fish.  Will this pool be merge mining DOGECOIN and autoconverting it into LTC when they have switched over?  I'd love to start getting extra LTC.
