It's a currency just like the money in your pocket, do whatever you want.

A currency, which could appreciate by the time you decide to spend it.  Wink

Because $5 doesn't mean much to you perhaps it does for other people and I know a lot of people would love to have a spare $5 every single month.

Might be true but $5 isn't that much and if people spent enough time on faucets they would be able to earn that much every week if not more.

Risky, because you can dispute the transaction later on and reverse it.  Wink

That $5 may be quite a bit of money for those living in developing countries.
And if he get it by solving captcha 10 hours a day for a whole week, it means a lot to him lol. Wink

For such small amounts the risk is not as big. It is true that it has been said that people have been known to scam for even less then .01BTC however I personally don't think it would be worth it to try to scam for such a small amount.

Agree. Might not be worth it to try and scam at current rates. But if bitcoin appreciates, then it is a different ball game. Cheesy

Hahaha, don't believe him! Selling BTC via PayPal is a very dangerous thing! PayPal allows customers to do a chargeback, where they get their money back and your BTC are just gone. This may be a very well known scam tactic!

In my opinion, holding on to your coins is the best you can do - at least if you're comfortable staying in the Bitcoin game! If you invest in mining companies, stocks, etc. you risk losing a huge portion (or even everything) of your investment! It's a very dangerous game, if you ask me!

You should never assume that the price will appreciate when making a business decision with bitcoin. If you think the price will go up then you should buy on an exchange or via LBC. You should not accept a discounted payment just because you think the price will increase in the future.
