It's a currency just like the money in your pocket, do whatever you want.
A currency, which could appreciate by the time you decide to spend it.

A currency, which could appreciate by the time you decide to spend it. Yeah but it could also go down, so that balances things

I cant beleive you wrote that much words or even thinking this hard for $5 Because $5 doesn't mean much to you perhaps it does for other people and I know a lot of people would love to have a spare $5 every single month.

Might be true but $5 isn't that much and if people spent enough time on faucets they would be able to earn that much every week if not more.

I can buy them off you with paypal, and you can buy anything you want . Risky, because you can dispute the transaction later on and reverse it.

That $5 may be quite a bit of money for those living in developing countries. And if he get it by solving captcha 10 hours a day for a whole week, it means a lot to him lol.

It is true that it has been said that people have been known to scam for even less then .01 BTC however I personally don't think it would be worth it to try to scam for such a small amount.

Might not be worth it to try and scam at current rates. But if bitcoin appreciates, then it is a different ball game.

I can buy them off you with paypal, and you can buy anything you want . Hahaha, don't believe him! Selling BTC via PayPal is a very dangerous thing! PayPal allows customers to do a chargeback, where they get their money back and your BTC are just gone. This may be a very well known scam tactic!

In my opinion, holding on to your coins is the best you can do - at least if you're comfortable staying in the Bitcoin game! If you invest in mining companies, stocks, etc. you risk losing a huge portion (or even everything) of your investment! It's a very dangerous game, if you ask me!

You should never assume that the price will appreciate when making a business decision with bitcoin. If you think the price will go up then you should buy on an exchange or via LBC. You should not accept a discounted payment just because you think the price will increase in the future.
