I paid $6538.99 for a X3 miner and the power supply for the free half X3 miner.

I also recommend filing a complaint with the Colorado Attorney General as I have just done.

https://www.coloradoattorneygeneral.gov/consumerfraudcomplaint

Thanks, I currently filed a report with the BBB, next week will make a report to the FTC and if that doesn't work I will use the above link.

I won't just give up my money so easily, minersource even tried to ship me the miners 6+ months late while I asked for a refund several times and the order was cancelled months ago..  Undecided

For how many $ have you bought at minersource?
The Bitcoin software, network, and concept is called "Bitcoin" with a capitalized "B". Bitcoin currency units are called "bitcoins" with a lowercase "b" -- this is often abbreviated BTC.

My miner arrived even tho I asked for the order to be cancelled and my money to be returned multiple times. I placed it in money pit storage area where it belongs. I let it sit at FedEx for a while and I considered just refusing the package right away, but then I would probably be out a miner and my money. I'm NOT opening the box. I'm going to talk to an attorney today and see what they suggest I do with it.

I just found a few more avenues to pursue. I took a look at some GIS maps and figured out that Miner Hosting, LLC is located in Adams County in Aurora, CO.

Adams County has a District Attorney's office. http://adamsbroomfieldda.org/

It looks like I need to fill out forms for a Victim Impact Statement or a Restitution Statement and return it to the Adams County District Attorney’s office.

Also, their FAQ suggests that I contact the Colorado Bureau of Investigation if I have been a victim of fraud. I think I'll do that today too.

There is also the Detective division of the Adams County Sheriff's Department
http://apps.adcogov.org/sheriff/detectives.html  I'll give them a call today as well.

Good thing I took the day off work to work on this ALL DAY TODAY.

Minersource ignored all requests from the BBB, I just filed a complaint with the Colorado Attorney General although I do live in Europe so don't know if it is accepted. I'll be filling a complaint with the FTC about Minersource in the upcoming days, I'll just continue until I get my money back.

I see you got a De Lorean! Awesome it's one of my favorite cars! (and Back to the future one of my fav. movies).

State of Colorado
Department Of Law
Office of the Attorney General

RE: Minersource Aka Miner Hosting LLC

Dear Jason xxxxxxx:

Thank you for contacting our office with your concerns as we are in receipt of your complaint. Your complaint provides valuable information that will help us identify trends in consumer fraud and allow us to set enforcement priorities.

As a result, our office will keep the information obtained from your complaint as part of our ongoing efforts to identify those businesses that may engage in patterns of deceptive practices in Colorado. If the number of complaints rise to a level that indicates a widespread pattern of deceptive practices, as defined by the Colorado Consumer Protection Act (CCPA), our office will further review complaints against the company at that time for possible legal intervention.

While we cannot take direct action to resolve your concerns, you may also wish to file a formal complaint with the Better Business Bureau at www.bbb.org or by calling 720-508-6006, telephone option 4 as the BBB offers no-charge dispute resolution services for a number of consumer issues. As most legal matters are extremely complex, you may also wish to seek the opinion of private counsel for a review of your individual legal options.

We appreciate the time and effort you took in bringing your concerns to our attention. Information from the public is vital in helping us properly document trends, pursue investigations, and ultimately to file lawsuits on behalf of the public.

Sincerely,

FOR THE ATTORNEY GENERAL

Consumer Specialist
Consumer Protection Section
(800)-222-4444 or (720)-508-6006
www.coloradoattorneygeneral.gov/cp

I got the same response, next step FTC.. or a refund.

What a bad joke this whole Minersource became. Waiting 3.5 months now since they "sent out a check". Finally they paid $190 refund for a $219 X3 psu, and are still working on the shipping cost return for over 5 weeks now. Never even had a reply on tickets through their failing mailing system, never but once had a reply to pm's. Plain thievery, looks like they try to stall untill people just walk away? FTC time it is.

I understand you, filling a complaint with the FTC today.

Two weeks ago they told me if I wasn't interested in the hardware I need to tell them and they will give me in-store credit, I mailed them back several times since then and still no reply.

As I said in another thread they are hoping people will just accept out dated miners or give up so they can keep our money. Fight for your right to (party) have a refund.

Pieces of shit and utter liars...

How did your refusal of your miners go? Did it get a rise out of the dickheads at MS?

After refusing the package, which should never have been sent to me, and contacting them several times I received the following template mail. Notice how they didn't even bother to remove the first line and fill in the _<..>_ blanks..  Undecided :

Quote
<ONLY INCLUDE IF THEY CONTACTED YOU; DELETE IF YOU SIMPLY REFUSED A DELIVERY REFUSAL NOTICE: Thank you for contacting us regarding our shipment of your pre-ordered mining equipment.> We understand that you have refused delivery and instructed the shipping company to return the equipment to us. We are sorry that you are unhappy with your order, but we are not able to refund the value of your order if you cancel it. We did our best in a challenging situation to deliver your _<units>__ as quickly as possible, and had even worked with our supplier to add an additional __<X>__ units to your order, free of charge. These additional units were included in the shipment we sent to you. While we appreciate and acknowledge that the wait has been longer than you had hoped, this was a “pre-order” of mining equipment which, according to the terms of purchase posted on our site when you placed your order, is non-refundable if cancelled. Those terms (www.minersource.net/____) explicitly notified buyers that delivery dates were not guaranteed, and that buyers should not rely on them as a factor in making the decision to place an order with us. We will initiate delivery of the shipment to you again at no additional shipping charge within 5 days of the date of this communication unless you provide notice to us in writing that you are not interested in receiving the equipment, in which case we will provide you with in-store credit in the amount of your original purchase, less the shipping fees, instead. Again, we are sorry that this order took so long to fulfil, and encourage you to contact us with any additional questions.

I've been very patient the first 6 months after ordering but my patience has turned into anger. All they have to do is send me a refund and it's finished. In the meantime I contacted 3 different consumer organizations and will continue to do everything until I get my $ back.

Lazy fucks and just goes to show the balls they have... they're clearly getting a lot of these messages and have their "procedures" down pat.

The "extra compensation" they say they included is bullshit too, it's only to try to cover their ass legally which is another outright lie. I can't wait until these dickheads go bankrupt. My only wish was that I was home when my doorstop arrived so I could have told them to send it right back, I would have loved the chance to get some communication back from them for once.

Keep us updated yeah?

How surprising, no reply. Minersource has my $800 and refuses to give it back, they want me to accept 6+ months old miners even though my order was cancelled.

How can I get my money back?

Decided to give it a final try before filing at the ftc, by replying to a month old support ticket, was asked for a wallet add. next day, for the third time, sent it and got the final $194 back a day later.
