So today I went to withdraw my balance since I never leave a balance overnight. I noticed it was just sitting in "Pending". I emailed support and logged out waiting for reply. I logged back in later and support told me they took back 2BTC that I won on last nights Yankees game. Mind you this was originally graded a win and paid out. I had already withdrew my balance yesterday as I do every day. I had deposited more BTC back in this morning, made many bets, won and lost BTC just today.

This was the bet. This was half game bet meaning first 5 innings. The game was called due to rain at the bottom of the 5th. Yankees were batting. They were winning 2-1.

Now in their defense, they have this rule that half game bets must go full 5 innings. But really, the score couldn't have changed in any way to make my bet a loser. The Yankees were winning at the bottom of the 5th. The only thing that made the bet a loss was this archaic rule.

I was extremely polite to support, voiced my displeasure when I got this gem of a reply. <excerpted>

Now nitrogen will reply saying its in their rules, which may be correct. But when I told them their rules were flawed , they showed no acknowledgement of that. Nor did they make any acknowledgment that they would look into changing them to make sense. I never once asked for the BTC back, yet they kept defending their rules! INCREDIBLE!

So, TLDR; They can and will suspend your withdrawals at any time. They can and will enforce any archaic rule. They can and will regrade bets the day after. You better read every rule before you bet. Even then the rule might mean something else than whats written. Or better yet save yourself a headache and bet elsewhere.

Can't remember or find the other ones. Caught my attention when I seen someone post about it on sbrforum last year.

It makes no sense at all but books can get away with it since it's in the rules. Same with tennis totals and betting the over, had a bunch canceled because a player retired even after the total already went over.

Yea, well it doesn't give me confidence when support is clueless about what happened in the game as well. Another reason I wont be coming back or recommending to friends and acquaintances who are huge betters. We are talking about 2BTC bet here (max bet), not some chump change.

"Game must go 5 innings and both pitchers must start for wagers to have action. The score after 5 innings will be used for settling these wagers."

Also when you make moneyline wagers on full game it will ask you whether or not you want action if the starting pitcher changes.

Nitrogen has none of these things.

If they hope to avoid future confusion, they should really make an effort to display the rules prominently so that people don't feel cheated.

Those are for moneyline. OP was technically spread.

Oh yea +0 is the best spread I've ever gotten. Again there is NO ML option in half betting on Nitro. +0 is obviously the ML by default for the lazy programmer.

I'm not agreeing with Nitrogen here. They should definitely offer moneylines for these bets. I see them avoid moneylines on huge spreads too but..

The result of the game is official after 5 innings of play unless the home team is leading after 4.5 innings. If a game is called or suspended, the winner is determined by the score after the last full inning unless the home team scores to tie, or take the lead in the bottom half of the inning, in which case the winner is determined by the score at the time the game is called. Bets will be refunded if the home team ties the game and it is suspended.

The home team was leading after 4.5. Rules are rules right? The sentence does not make sense. So what happens if the home team is winning after 4.5. The word "unless" is a conjunction that negates the statement if not true. Basic English here folks. It should negate the first part of the sentence which is "the game is official". Also the game did not go all 5 innings anyway, so the whole sentence should be void. Now, I kinda get the gist of what they were going for, but grammatically speaking it does not make a lick of sense. The BetUS wording is perfect.

Wait they counted your bet as a loss?  It should definitely be a refund...

Also they totally messed up by counting it as a win and then canceling the win. Books should not so that under any circumstances. It creates a chain of events where then all your bets today get messed up.
