Hey dev, if someone has 50% of the coins at some point during the PoW (like the whale with 30+ gh/s earlier), how do you plan to prevent the history attack (or nothing-at-stake attack) when the coin goes to PoS?

Then we crash the price and make that whale the only bag holder

Not sure who would mine with 30 GH/s for that long, its quite an amount to spend.

The point of the attack is that the whale can sell the coins, and then start building his own chain from the point when he had 50% of the coins some time in the past.

He's going to need 51% of the total hash power. Even more probably, if the source is well written.

I've seen dedicated hitting 70%+ and not forking coins, not sure if we should worry now.

There is no reason for a pool to fork a coin unless the pool wants to kill its own business.

I built it a few years back but it was a nice build, pistons, shot peened rods, p&p head, larger throttle body, larger mass air flow, emanage for tuning from the laptop, wideband air fuel gauge, short shifter, swapped ecu for better one, solid motor mounts etc etc.  Put out over 300hp on the built block and about 200hp with 195ft lbs of torque on the stock block.  Giving the motor was 96hp at the crank stock it was a good build.  300hp in a car that weighs 2600lbs with me in it, it was pretty nasty @21 lbs of boost.  

edit stock block 195whp and 220lbs of torque.

Its a fucking Hyundai isn't it?  Of course it was NASTY...what kind of handicap drops that kind of work into a Excel...

I did all the work myself it really didn't cost me much.  The built block I even built the manifold....  Assembled everything myself.  The only thing that really cost me was a custom drag clutch because I couldn't find one to handle the power.  I had a 300zx turbo prior to this car but bought this one with no intention to modify it just happened that way so yes it was a Hyundai...
