Hello everyone!

eCurrency.io is proud to announce the launch of our official incentivized mining pool! That's right, when a block is found 10% goes to a lucky random winner!  As long as you have been mining in the past 24 hours of WHEN the block has been discovered and you are ACTIVELY mining, regardless of hashrate, you are officially in the list to win 2.5~ BTC!!  

That's right, 2.5 BTC so long as you remain an active miner and it's found within the last 24 hours of you being active you have a chance to win!

How to begin?

You must register on our pool, http://www.eCurrency.io/

After you have registered and verified your email address with our system.  You are on to logging into your account and setting up your workers and pointing your miners to the pool to start mining!

You can visit our "Help -> Getting Started" section for information on how to join the pool, or below is the information as well:

You will notice that there is a 12% pool fee.  Quick explanation so that this is in plainview.

10% goes to that lucky winner per block find.  We'll be inputting the users to Random.org and letting them pick the winner.  No winner can win back-to-back, but to keep it fair they will still be placed in following drawing.  If they happened to be chose again, the runner up will be the winner.  

1% goes to pool prizes, which, once we get enough saved up we will be taking that % to give away prizes, TBD by community.  Could be miners, gift cards, BTC donation, whatever!

1% goes to pool maintenance and upkeep.  That means it's going to pay for the server, server upgrades and a very small percent will actually touch my own pocket.. (Enough to by me enough smokes to keep me happy running this thing!)

Remaining 88% goes to the pool in a fair PPLNS payout.

As long as you're mining actively, you have as fair of a chance as 10 TH/s.  The point is, the faster we find blocks the better odds there are for everyone to hit the jackpot!

It is only dependent on ACTIVE miners and the statistics that show the past 24 hour details.

And I know the followup question is, why not have multiple accounts and increase your chance.. *sigh*, I suppose you could, there's nothing preventing that from happening, other than me cross referencing IP's to username's and such.. but that's just hurtful to the idea and concept.

I ask that everyone has one user account and put their workers in that one account unless there is a legitimate reason to not have one account.  That being said, I hope people play fair.. This is not stacked for the house to win, this is for you and your peers you're mining with and I would hope you could show your fellow miners the same respect that you'd like to see for yourself.

To answer your question though, as long as you're actively mining and finding shares within the past 24 hours of finding a block you are therefor entered into the 'Jackpot" drawing.

What's the minimum "winning" hash that could possibly join?

Any.  Though, the minimum difficulty is 32, so you have to be active and finding shares to be able to participate.  If I find that there are a bunch 300MH/s joining and are getting 1 share a day, the difficulty will increase because we want as much hashing power as we can to try to get at least 1 block per day which is more than 1 PH/s ideally.  So the more you put towards the pool the better chances of winning the jackpot more often there is.

I'll update the OP to explain the remainder 88% distribution as well, I forgot to post that in there.

Thanks.  Again, I'd like to state that 1gh/s and 100th/s has equal chances of winning.  I will be taking the activity of the past 24 hours very seriously and using Random.org to plug in all the active miners will insure that it is as fair as humanly possible.

Okay, so I wanted to display some quick math based on TODAY's difficulty and for the next ~1,625 blocks from this post.

If we have 10 TH/s we're looking at approximately 93.14 days to find a block on average.  10 TH/s isn't a lot to find a block in 3 months, so let's get to 10 TH/s!

30 TH/s is 31 days.
60 TH/s is is 15.5 days.
120 TH/s is 7.76 days.
250 TH/s is 3.73 days.
500 TH/s is 1.86 days.
1 PH/s is 0.93 days.
1.5 PH/s is 0.62 days.
3 PH/s is 0.31 days.
5 PH/s is 0.19 days.
10 PH/s is 0.09 days.

Let's start achieving some of these milestones and start giving these block rewards out to the winners and have prize money to buy stuff to give away!  You'll always keep ~90% of your regular payout anyways.. What's 10% when you have the chance to win not only 2.5 BTC but on top of that your 90% regular PPLNS payout and still have the chance to be entered into ADDITIONAL drawings for other prizes.. IN ADDITION to all of this!

Or you can go mine at a regular pool, get your known rate that is decreasing daily and not even have a chance to possibly ROI on your equipment, because you won't take a 10% cut of your regular amount to win big.

I'd like to see the day where I'm having to do 3 to 5 drawings a day giving out 10 BTC or $6k USD a day JUST for mining with us! How cool would that be?!  Let's start a new way of mining where a little risk is taken, but the potential for such a great reward is there and the more people and/or more hashing power we have the higher the chance there is to find these blocks to LET US do this.

No other pool has so many incentives they offer for such a small (in the grand scheme of it all) percentage risk for such a great percentage gamble on your end, because there is absolutely house advantage!!!!!  Now that I think of it, is it really even gambling?  You know you'll win... You'll never lose.

I really hope to see you join, give us a chance.  Keep mining with us.  We're tiny right now, don't give up hope and quit after 24 hours.  The more proof we have that we have active miners, the more interest that will build and the more people who will join and it's a snowball effect.

Let's build something together and make it successful.  Let's start making mining more that just mining!

Does anyone have any questions or comments?  I'd really like to see this grow at least a few TH/s a day, actively.  Once we start finding blocks, you'll see that the rewards and incentives are well worth moving over to eCurrency to mine.  You're only taking a small fraction cut from your regular mining to always have the chance to win the jackpot per block on top of that doing prizes and giving away mining gear or gift cards, or what have you...

This has so much great potential for miners in a whole to start building their farms up with the chance to win 2.5BTC PER BLOCK!

Let's get some hashing power in here and start sending out the jackpot and other prizes!!!
