I can't say for sure but in my opinion the best candidate is California for so many reasons. Most importantly being the need it bad. They could set the standard sort of like Colorado did with Cannabis but way better.

Hmmmm California is a nice guess, as well. They've got Silicon Vallye and all the technology start-ups right there. Also, they are pretty forward-thinking and open minded as well. You may be right!!! San Francisco comes to your mind!

They had a rocky start: http://time.com/2942212/california-bitcoin-legalize/But it's always a possibility. Although, I have to say... Even though California has a good chance, I'm kind of tired of seeing so many companies move or being based in California. I kind of wish companies would start spreading out more and moving to areas other than silicon valley.

San Francisco comes to your mind! CA is notorious for having high taxes and heavy regulation. Tech companies can tollerate this however Bitcoin users generally are very much opposed to both taxes and regulation. I would doubt that any city in CA will ever be any kind of Bitcoin "center"

Toronto is good for bitcoin but for bitcoin center, i don't think bitcoin need 1 city as center since it's decentralized how about bitcoin city, like many merchant in the city accept bitcoin, many bitcoin atms and many people there use bitcoin as daily payment

Currently all cities in Switzerland fulfill that. If you buy Bitcoin e.g. through a broker they have to ask you many questions and run your name against a recent copy of a DB but you remain anonymous if all checks are fine. At least this is what I recall from talking to Niklas fro Bitcoins Suisse AG.

If it's going to be anyone its going to be London but hopefully it won't be any city and Bitcoin will remain decentralized from having a center of Bitcoin.

I agree with the above post that says it will likely be a city in the netherlands. They have a small amount of regulation and low tax rates.

I think it will be Beijing. Yeah, the Chinese banned Bitcoin, but there are still a lot of people there with pretty big amounts of BTC in their wallets. Also all those mining companies like ASICMiner are doing their business there. And because of that the Chinese government will change their mind!

Every major city.
There you go. That's the easiest answer to predict. I'm not guessing one city will just be the 'center', however, oh well.

No way NYC -- honestly, I say no way in the USA, we love control way too much. Having anything out of arm's reach drives the powers-that-be crazy. I say it's gotta be western/northern Europe -- open-minded and the people there usually can speak English.
