Los Angeles and Toronto are my guesses. Most probably Toronto as they are promoting BTC a lot.

Toronto has less Bitcoin merchants than smaller Canadian cities like Vancouver and Edmonton.

We work hard to promote Bitcoin adoption and the decentralization of society. You can support our efforts by donating BTC to 35wDNxFhDB6Ss8fgijUUpn2Yx6sggDgGqS

The center of cryptocurrency is here on this forum. We don't need a physical headquarter just like we don't need a physical bitcoin.

Canada has always been the forefront of bitcoin.. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Always have been.. Multiple centers for Bitcoin may be the future but one or two places will probably be more active because they will have more friendly regulation

I'd definitely think it would be San Fran more than LA. LA thinks it's too cool and has other things to do than BTC. I would think it would be a more liberal city in the US that would take the lead in BTC.

Don't think about a single city! Let's think about a whole country. Maybe we can buy a third world country and replace it as Crypto City. ![Cool](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cool.gif)

A couple of weeks ago I'd have said Detroit, but if they really are enforcing those laws they're currently working on, it may hinder Bitcoins development a lot. :-/ It could be Boston. ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fupload.wikimedia.org%2Fwikipedia%2Fcommons%2Fthumb%2Fe%2Fee%2FLegal_status_of_bitcoin.png%2F1200px-Legal_status_of_bitcoin.png&t=662&c=AO-DEIS7Boj5Hg) I would highly doubt that Detroit will ever be the center of anything ever again. It is simply too poorly run of a city. Even when the auto industry was booming and most cars were being built in Detroit, it was still notorious for it's horrible crime problem.

New York OR China might become the centre of BTC. ![Roll Eyes](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/rolleyes.gif) Both are being crowded by BTC users. ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) ~~MZ~~
