I am interested in this " Even though we coded the majority of things to make this coin a reality"...what exactly did you code in the already present CN implementation? I mean you are asking for a consulting fees so I think we should know, isnt?

registration isn't working for me. i keep getting this error: "Your password must be at least 8 characters long and contain an uppercase letter, lowercase letter, and a number" even though i am satisfying those requirements.

this could be a fishing scam.
same problem here

Guys, stop with the unfair Nxt distribution myth. Please stop.
You can't make a coin for the sole purpose of having a fair distribution.
Lebix distribution has nothing fair.
The first who setup a bot will get 95% of coins.
i think you pointed out the main thing...
There is also a problem.
Building a real anon PoS is nearly impossible. Some exist but have huge flaws that make them unusable.
This could be just a fishing scam to get email/username/password of users. Most people use the same data everywhere.
What's the cryptographic reason that PoS is impossible with anon?

A PoS network rely on transparency to secure the network.
You must know where are the coins and from where it come.

The only way to have (partial) anonymity with a secure network is the ring signature (with PoW) :
https://cryptonote.org/inside.php

Quote
Fully anonymous signatures would allow spending the same funds many times which, of course, is incompatible with any payment system's principles. The problem can be fixed as follows...

Quote
All users keep the list of the used key images (compared with the history of all valid transactions it requires an insignificant amount of storage) and immediately reject any new ring signature with a duplicate key image. It will not identify the misbehaving user, but it does prevent any double-spending attempts, caused by malicious intentions or software errors.

Quote
CryptoNote is designed to mitigate the risks associated with key re-usage and one-input-to-one-output tracing. Every address for a payment is a unique one-time key, derived from both the sender's and the recipient's data. It can appear twice with a probability of a 256-bit hash collision. As soon as you use a ring signature in your input, it entails the uncertainty: which output has just been spent?

Understand that it is the Proof of Work that make it impossible to cheat the system in cryptonote.

You must know where are the coins and from where it come.

I'm not buying that argument. It may well be true that PoS is incompatible with CN, but it'll take another argument to convince me. After all, there are various "unintuitive" things that are possible with crypto, due to the "easy in one direction, hard in the other" properties. It could be theoretically plausible that one could prove a certain amount of coins is somewhere staking, without actually giving any other information, and that this proof could only be made if the coins are not yet spent. Again, to make things clear, I am not claiming it IS possible to do this, just that it was not (yet ?) proven to be wrong AFAIK.

I think POS might also be possible for an anonymous coin.  Perhaps the miners would be pseudoanonymous, but the rest of the network could be fully anonymous.

Wish the dev would say more about this coin.

Seems to be a scam to capture our passwords with the form.

If you filled it with the same pass as on other places or forums, the best thing you can do is change it.
(Just a recommendation).

I feel bad for having fallen so easily for this scam. Good thing I use a password generator for every new account that I make, so none of my passwords are reused.

They only have my email address, I'll be expecting some spam.
