As we all know, ngzhang will no longer take small orders. He will now only accept orders greater than 30 units.
Who would be interested in buying it together in the USA? We can make one order, and have one member distribute the units once they arrive in USA.
It would turn out to be cheaper also, since he give discounts for 30 units.
Please post how many units you are interested in. So if we get 30 units, we can order.
I am in for at least 2, could be more.

Start a project on kickstartr? Buy-in is $479 then if you get 30 you order, then you have to ship them to each funder and funder pays shipping.

I can probably do this. I'd been considering doing it for the last 3 months and just this month I got some startup funding. I'd still probably have to do a Kickstarter for it since I can't cover all the costs.

The 30 unit minimum is only for last-generation Rev 3 boards. I would wait for the next version, which he has promised will be better.

If you order batch 3 in bulk now, it also takes him a few weeks for manufacturing and testing. I'd say a month, could be more. |

If there was a bulk discount on the BFL Singles I'd be in on that. Unfortunately the ROI for the Icarus boards is just too high for me. I'd be interested in 3-4 BFL singles though  |

The ROI is very hard to estimate but at $469 it looks very attractive to me. The only problem for me is avoiding getting scammed, so if we can resolve the trust issue somehow and if we can get it done quickly, I'll buy 10.

i already ordered 200 FPGAs, so i think it's very possible to finish any bulk orders in April.
