The exchange rates are obscene. I spent $7 on transaction fees (the margin that they profit off of, to be precise) on a $35 transaction from BLK to DASH. I'm happy to have them make some money off of a payment, but that is a disgustingly high amount and I want a refund. There is no excuse. That is 20%.

You can calculate what you will receive. You need to take the instant rate we provide, multiple that by the amount of coins you are wanting to send, remove the miner fee of the receiving coin and that is how you will know how much you will receive. We don't have transaction fees. The instant rate we provide to you is exactly what you will get, minus the miner fee. We recommend user make sure to always make note of this before doing an order so if the rate provided at that time is not what they would like, they can choose note to do an exchange at that time. The rates are based on the buy/sell orders we make so this updates every 30 seconds and is totally dependent on the market at that time. Well until my situation gets resolved id suggest no one use this service.  i lost 65 eth that they are aware of and they are happy to start taking new customers.  Ive seen this all too many times after a hack..  Just send back this eth to the originating address and ill never touch your service again.   You say the coins aren't lost and i can clearly see them sitting in my deposit address.

I really wouldn't worry.  They are going to take care of you I'm sure.

They aren't open or at least have limited support on the weekends.

I'm sure they will honor the Bitcoin payment for your ETH.

As I understand you sold ETH for BTC a bit ago before the ETH price went down and are now concerned they won't paid out the BTC they agreed to because the current market is lower... right?

This was very unfortunate to say the least, a huge loss but I do hope that you guys recover some part of it from the employee which was involved in this misdeed for they're completely responsible for it and send them to Jail. Also hope to see you guys back soon, shapeshift is my favorite exchange and though others are trying to take advantage of this misfortune and fill the space, I don't think there is yet any service which is even close to the standard of shapeshift.
