It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

Stellar forked from Ripple because they thought they knew better. Threw their toys out of the pram in the process. Stellar's website is good - that's it. Ripple's people are far higher quality and the have much more connections. Ripple is on track to become the world's first legitimate crypto currency. Stellar have a huge amount of catching up to do. |

Stellar forked from Ripple because they thought they knew better. Threw their toys out of the pram in the process. Stellar's website is good - that's it. Ripple's people are far higher quality and the have much more connections. Ripple is on track to become the world's first legitimate crypto currency. Stellar have a huge amount of catching up to do. Ripple does have its advantages, but it is still quite a distance away from Bitcoin. |

The free Stellar I got, now worth more than 0.1 BTC congrats, I managed to get a few STR in the earlier weeks too. made a killing when it hit 2000 sats. |

It's more important to be traded then to be in the news. Hopefully so, I hope for more worthy competitors for Bitcoins, competition makes all on their toes and ensure better services for all of us. |

Stellar will serve as a useful warning to anyone else who thinks they know how to do crypto better than Ripple.
I feel sorry, not for Stellar, but for the folks who lost their money.
