Happens.. to me too    So I only invest in coins with real dev teams. Bitshares, Etherium, XCP, NXT, etc.. fuck the scam coins you will always get burned in the end.

Damn dude, that really sucks man.......sorry you lost so much!  That would bury me right now!  Don't agree with the insensitivity of those saying it's your own fault , I guess there is truth in those words....but this could happen to any of us that invest into any crypto currency.  It does look like you made some poor choices with your investments so I do agree with those saying to use due diligence in doing your own research.  If I understand you correctly it also sounds like that was the last of your investment money, that too was a really bad idea to put it all out there I suppose.

Hope your fortune turns around man and it all comes back to you 10 fold!!

One would hope that the loss of 10BTC will improve anyone's level of investment awareness...  

or at least make them think hard before investing again!

Maybe try this;-  Assume every new coin is a SCAM, and start again, adjusting your strategy until you make some money - small amounts in the first instance!

Investment is a gamble, no matter which way you look at it! Real Life money, or Crypto..

Can you really afford to lose the amount you are investing?...if so, then play away...if not, then stay away!

it baffles me when a coin hits bittrex and there's all those buy orders. newest coins most likely go down, not up. the days of hitting an exchange and demand skyrocketing are long gone.

with all the market manipulation i wouldn't be surprised if those buys were the dev's who later pulls them when they decide to dump. i've lost money deciding not to sell because of buy support, which disappeared.

when new coins have no buyers, and the scam devs waste time and money, then maybe these coins go away. flashcoins are the worst. if you buy into a flashcoin you deserve to lose money.

Sorry to hear man, 10btc is huge loss in a week. I advise you to consider investing 0.1btc when you wanna trade new currency, and with time passing you can invest more in the same currency if it proves to be honest. If things doesnt smell right you limit your loss to certain amount. This works for me.
