They have removed the Pacific 2000 from their website, now just Pacific 1250 and V2 which is promising almost silent operation- sheesh!  How's that possible with a server grade psu. Tongue

Apparently the 1250 is for real.  Here is Dogie's review:

Looking like we may have a new player as long as the reliability is there.  When can we see more info on Pacific 2000 and more details and pricing?  Your website says it's available, is this only from your Russian affiliates?

I gonna say to our webmaster to change it pic.

As we wrote above, Pacific V2 hasn't something extremely newest.
We just improve PCBs design to cut power consumption as well.

Aluminum case made mostly for cheaper shipping cost.

Do you still use two mode of fan?
From dogie review the 5000rpm is less likely to be use by normal user.

we use 2500rpm.
5000prm mode just for preventing troubles with cooling in extremely hot areas or OL mode.

How do these work with p2pool - any experiences?

Finally V2 in stock

It looks a lot like AM Prisma at nearly twice the price. Is the PSU really included? What kind of PSU? What kind of controller?

PSU included, Pi as controller unless V2 is very changed from V1.

Nvm, V2 is no longer V2.

What is V1? The Pacific 1250? V2 doesn't look anything like it. Don't see any PSU in the picture thus the question.

1250:

Also quite different from what was originally announced:

Copycats?

More like resellers. They clearly say in the specs that it's based on AM chips, so no big secret here. I'm just curious what kind of PSU and controller they provide.

XBTec collaborated with ASICMiner on the Prisma board design so technically it was designed by both of them. I believe the V3 is actually comprised of the same board, just in a rackmount chassis. If you look at the end of your Prisma boards you'll notice a label which says designed by stahanov.pro.
