XBTec opens pre-orders for bitcoin miner Pacific V2

Pacific V2 is improved model of Pacific 1250.
During designing we found solutions how to cut power consumption and enhance chipset hash rate at the same time.
Aluminum case is more lightweight than steel one, it helps to cut expenses for shipping. Also heat sink dimensions has been optimized for better air flows and cooling efficiency.

Chipset: AM BE200
Hash rate: 1,57 Th/s
Power consumption from the wall: 1250 Watt
Power consumption per Gh: 0.8 Watt from the wall

Details
Power supply 1450Watt included.
4 PCB boards
Ethernet connection
Working stand alone

Price is $1099 with worldwide shipping.

Any questions PM please.

Hurrah for aluminium! Units are needlessly heavy nowadays.

Congrats on getting the W/Gh below 1.0.

I'm curious, how many BE200 chips are in the Pacific 1570 (is it 16 per PCB board)?

You have to stress test this case for shipping. Even steel made case (Bitmain, S2) is sometimes bent during shipping, despite foam protection.
It wouldn't matter for your customers in what shape it was sent, only in what shape it arrived. Cards/boards can fall out too, unless reinforced.

We plans to output devices before 31th August.
We didn't something super newest, we just optimized design of Pacific 1250

Moreover, we already have experience and partnership relationships with few huge Chinese SMD and PCB factories and we sure about ablility to make mass production in time.

Of course, we thought about it. We just see packaging of fragile electronics, like TV. Just input softeners between the case and cartoon box

I think would be better, if we will upload video with proofs.
Don't wanna just declaim.

Most important-you have to guarantee a minimal of 90 days warranty for the whole miner. This is pretty much a must and a minimal industry standard. One month is too little. Most people would have difficulty ordering with only 30 days warranty.

I also recommend sending a unit to Dogie. Best person to give a new unit to and it will help convince a lot of people that you have created what you claim.

Has XBTec addressed the nature of their Black Arrow connection or is it still in denial? Sorry if this has been answered somewhere already, it's nearly impossible to filter through all the crap that's been posted about it.

Looking like we may have a new player as long as the reliability is there.  When can we see more info on Pacific 2000 and more details and pricing?  Your website says it's available, is this only from your Russian affiliates?

This all sounds good on paper, but can we see some more evidence of a built machine hashing? A few pictures of an empty case doesn't really give me any confidence here.
Dispatching in three weeks time? This looks like good intentions and promises.

I don't doubt they have a miner designed.  I have seen some farm pictures posted of what is likely their V1 model.
I am guessing V2 is generally same design and will likely work.  BUT....
--Will it hash at the advertised rate? - no idea until they get it made
--Can they be trusted to deliver? - Newer company, no track record, who knows.

Smart money waits until 8/31.  Someone will order this and we'll see what they report (From the new batch, I'm sure Dogie's will works fine).
