Unlike traditional banking where clients have only a few account numbers, with Bitcoin people can create an unlimited number of accounts (addresses). This can be used to easily track payments, and it improves anonymity.

 Can you give us your real BitCoinTalk user name. I know to talk about the coin it's cool to have the coin as the user name but can we get your real BitCoinTalk user account? Or do you have something to hide? Shit if Carson Clock can man up and give us his info then I'm sure you can also. Unless you're a chick shit pussy that is just out to scam people.

classic scumbag scam dev line....pass on this shit.

   - 1.5% premine for bounties, giveaways, development, support and maintenance, new feature developments etc.

You forgot to put the Devs 200+ instamined blocks with that 1.5% premine.

"blocks" : 271,
"currentblocksize" : 1000,
"currentblocktx" : 0,
"difficulty" : 0.00591229,

This shit will get dumped hard once it hits the exchange. Warring to anyone person foolish enough to be suckered into buying this. This coin has no Trust at all. If we are to have any Trust in this coins then give us your real BitCoinTalk username.

Password-protecting the zip sources doesn't conceal the fact that the codebase of this coin is so old that it pre-dates the upgrade to leveldb (there's no /src/leveldb folder, a dead giveaway).

It's certainly not an implementation vehicle that I would have chosen for a long-term, fixed-PoW-then-PoS solution, looks more like the product of a particularly cheap altcoin cloning service.

Make sure you know the rules of this particular coin-game before devoting resources to mining --- i.e. if you don't intend to dump immediately, do make sure that you are satisfied with the projections of how the network is to be maintained after PoW finishes.

Compare with similarly-pitched fixed-PoW-then-PoS Bounty https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=656663.0, launched 18th June, premine dumped on Bittrex 4 days later, ejected from Bittrex 14 days after that, wallets stopped syncing a few weeks after that. Total lifespan of the coin was around six/seven weeks.

That's how this coin-game goes.

Cheers

 We are asking bittrex to do a video chat face to face before adding new coins. I hope they will go for it. Since if the dev is too chicken shit to do a video chat before listing their coins then the coin should not be listed.

guys need pool
i transfer 300000 TRS

Maybe the pools are taking a stand against noob dev that don't give out their real BitCoinTalk username and you little bribe it not working.  Shit you got the first 200+ blocks plus your 50000000 permine. All that means is this coin is dead since it will just get dumped once it hits the exchange. Which has happened many times this last week/month.  So pretty much you killed your own coin.

To be perfectly clear.  This is not TrustPlus Coin.  We have no affiliation with this coin.  We have already sent the paperwork to enom to find out who purchased the domain on July 17th.  WHOISGUARD, INC. has agreed full cooperation once they have our registrations.

Buy TRUSTplus.  We are building a Financial Platform.

Lier, lier pants on fire! Just goes to prove there is NO TRUST with this coin.

The starting difficulty was 0.00024414. So not only have you put wrong info about the premine you are now lying about the starting difficulty.

Here are the first two blocks mined and they both show  0.00024414 as the difficulty

You got no trust. You don't know how to do math since you're premine is posted wrong and you lied about the starting difficulty. You even too scared to give us your BitCoinTalk user info. Since I know you just did not first signup and copy/pasted a coin to create. There is no trust it's all lies. Just a noob account created to scam people.

Is the coin maturity age same as Mintcoin? 20 days?

Will PoW end at some point as well?

Yes, pow a little to move the time probably, many blocks. Code has not changed much, because the "script" is still..

You should make public the pre-mine address and also the address that you mined the first 200 blocks in to.

That would bring some trust to this coin =)

Interest is not currently high, because there is currently nothing to get interested in. This coin has nothing new at this time.

You need to at least come up with an idea, a concept, anything, something new for this coin!

It could be some form of anonymity, a new staking method, how about a referral program?

Yeah but with a new coin u need 1 of the next 2 ways for show trust:
1 a proven dev what launched perfect other coins, ur dev from darkcoin or other proved good coin? No then show step 2
2 a clear roadmap with dates

If u dont have both, then its hard to get TRUST in TRUSTcoin.. If even the name trustcoin has nothing to do with the coin, then what can i say more?

I dont want to be negative, i want to help, this because i'm also mining this coin with 1 gpu atm.

What time can Bittrex?

By bitrex I do not have the exact date, but i communicate with the exchanges, I think a matter of time..
However i have no purpose - all quick sell, you need to still work on the project.
Need to fix wallet code, some where. I plan to have some services, need more interest..
Exchanges, exchanges - they will be! Wink

A new version of the wallet for all platforms, with some modifications and corrections will be before Wednesday.
I looking toward the more anonymous, but still in search of a simple, but effective option.
In the neighboring topics popular question, although often fake. Here it is desirable to work in command.)
But I think we need to move in this direction. The other day i add Timeline in OP.

Still, some nodes will not be available for several hours. But this should not affect the operation of the network.

Reward is reduced in half after the 20160 block.
In new wallet versions of the number 20160 will be reduced to 7000 blocks!
So the reward will be half every 7000 blocks before the POS!

Release of a new wallet version - 19 august.

I'm working on a new version of the wallet, but time is short, what promised today - I will update tomorrow.
Then work will begin with social programs.
Source code is also updated by tomorrow.
Have a new version will be a little later because will be less than the reward. I decided to wait a little longer - 2-3 days)

due to the low net hash,ppl can easily fork the blockchain.

i suggest the PoS should kick in sooner to prevent it from happens again.

Dev - can you explain this please

I was mining over night and it seems all of the found blocks were "Orphaned"

What is going on? I rented a rig and now seems like it was all waste..

How can blocks be Orphaned?? Was the Blockchain played with?

The only way to Orphan the block as when its removed from the Blockchain.

http://screencast.com/t/qtoQKRkHF3

If you were working on things a maintenance period should have been declared.

Need some explanation here...

I have nothing to do with problems, learned not so long ago.
because of the low hashrate and small (possibly) changes are having problems with Blockchain.
I recently started working with the problem.
how many lost? (approx)

On the pool need to reload blocks. Now better solo mining.
Someone uses the failed wallet, it is not clear chance or not..

Thanks to both for addressing the problem quickly!

I now see blocks properly accepted in that pool.

I guess nothing could be done about the coins that were dropped of the blockchain due to the problem Sad or is there a way to retrieve them ?

Lost blocks will not return.
But now, the maximum reward for a block 37500. Loss is not that big.
But I think, if that possible to compensate lost. Smiley

Ok pools are down again, say something related to wallet etc..

Is there maintenance happening again ?

.. This is starting to feel a bit unprofessional to be honest, if there's work happening you should post in the forum so people would know.

I already lost about a day worth of hash power because you were working on the wallet and did not notify anyone.

Please get back to us on what's happening right now.

thanks.

yesterday evening from 20:00 gmt+1 i was mining on that ddns pool, but now i see that pool got issues again.

We are investingating issues in the backend. Your shares and hashrate are safe and we will fix things ASAP.

Findblocks disabled, new blocks will currently not show up in the frontend
Blockupdate disabled, blocks and transactions confirmations are delayed
Payouts disabled, you will not receive any coins to your offline wallet for the time being

This should mean only the frontend is not working..

New DDoS attack from the provider. Fell 4 nodes. Restore.
Soon will add 3 more nodes on the other data center.
Problem will be solved within 40 minutes.

For some time mining work without nodes on the pool.
Strangely did not think that would be a problem with the nodes..

Yes, reactivated the POW, because of the problems with the blockchain.
Wallet does not display correctly mining stage and today will be update.
The main problem arose because someone mining solo on good speed, with the old version of the wallet.

Yes, reactivated the POW, because of the problems with the blockchain.
Wallet does not display correctly mining stage and today will be update.
The main problem arose because someone mining solo on good speed, with the old version of the wallet.

While POS earned not at all wallets - where are few coins. Blockchain correct, the ideas for a few days POS should work for everybody.
If I find an error-will be updated. Be patient.

Hello, Gentlemen!

Update wallet:

Stake age of full weight: 100d

Updated GitHub
Updated Windows wallet - need to redownload blocks (faster wallet load time and load blocks).

Now the POS is started in the required time, it works. But does not run continuously because of the limit of coins in 5 billion coins.
Later, time working to POS mode - increase.

Next week, add 1 service and will try a new exchange.

I have a little over 6 million coins that is stuck at the unconfirmed for days now.

Not sure if it is the wallet (running newest version) or if they are stuck in the pool.

If you are going to leave your BTC on an exchange please send it to this address instead 1GH3ub3UUHbU5qDJW5u3E9jZ96ZEmzaXtG, I will at least use the money better than someone who steals it from the exchange. Thanks Wink

Need some help updating the wallet.

I'm running .0002 version and have my coins there.

Downloaded the last version, however it does not open and gives and error msg opening blkindex.dat file.

Want to transfer my coins to the new wallet and start staking.

thanks for your help.

Ok, save wallet.dat. Delete all other files. And start a new wallet, let redownload blocks.
POS runs as needed up to 5 billion coins. So sometimes the icon extraction will not light up. It's normal.

Dev, is there a way to get rid of orphaned PoS transactions in the wallet? -repair and -rescan didn't work in cmd prompt.

With orphans nothing to do. But it's not a loss. Rather, bad blocks, coins are counted as correct (percentage).

I know that, I'm no newbie and understand the concepts, but it's just a huge clutterf*ck. Perhaps coding something in that will make them disappear when the wallet opens? Or make it so the staking is auto-disabled while syncing?

Cut or turn off the display orphans?) To be honest, unlikely.
Of course I think that can do about it..
With synchronization, in principle, a good idea at the future, maybe it will work.

At the weekend, the problem with POS broken plans. Stabilize the work of POS mining, the primary task.
Although the main problem was solved, I working on a new version of the wallet.

And now stuck at 52052, with all those nodes. And I'm staking every block with 6800 blocks to go. I'm going to have over 7000 documented orphans. Dev, we have a problem, I'm not satisfied with my TRS experience. I don't want to encrypt my wallet, it's an extra step I shouldn't have to take.

I'll wait for a new wallet release before I try to sync again.

A test version of the wallet.

Download Windows wallet

GitHub

Make a copy wallet.dat before updating!

Note, that it may take time to changes in the generation blocks.
Probably will work as need not at once.
We'll see tomorrow.

The problem is more than just a few old wallets. Since I changed my trustcoin.conf file to maxconnections=1 and I delete the peers.dat and the block chain so it only connected to your hard coded node in the wallet and it still got stuck on block 41426. I tried with maxconnections=25 and it still gets stuck on 41426

Based on my observations:
When the generation is fast, 41426 block jumps normally. A slow generation stops at 41426 block.
A slow generation because still a lot of old wallet versions running.
While more than half of the old client work, hard to say exactly.

I did not remove anything from the directory with data files. Just launched a new version, the generation is working correctly.

I agree, may be would be required to add a heavy checkpoint. If the situation does not improve, I will do it tomorrow.

So how are we supposed to get past block 41426? I tried five time to re sync and every time is stops at block 41426.

Here are some ideas how to do it at any speed POS. Tomorrow I will check with the removal of the data and update the nodes. Following wallet should synchronized regardless of the generation rate. I will write here.

A test version of the wallet was corrected. Also had to cancel some of the changes.
At blocks 51000, 51500, 52000 may require a restart wallet. Temporarily removed some checkpoints.

Now I check it, decide the question with POS. Initially considered a bit wrong the total number of coins..

As long as this is the only problem that does not allow me to continue to work normally. I think soon will fix it.

dev,
I deleted my current wallet.dat and used an old one I had to see if the PoS orphans were preventing me from syncing past 41426.
Didn't work, but I don't have the orphans anymore and my balance is correct now. Idk once I get past 41426 if I'll get the orphans back or not. Hope not.

stuck at 63 339
can't receive or send TRS and "Not minting because you don't have mature coins."

Do you guys have similar problems ?

Yes, there is a problem. I'm trying to completely eliminate it. Just had a little time on tests. In fact, just today continued its work. While the problem is, the blocks will be generated slowly. You have the correct block.

I don't care about your profits per se, I worry about mine and as a bagholder, I'm losing too much over the last month or so PoS has been "working" for everyone else. Your profits will come in time. But as dev, you are in this situation to deliver a working product within a reasonable timeframe. If you need help, ask the community or other devs to assist you, no shame in that at all!

I'll try the new update, thanks dev! Cheesy

Thanks for the advice. I do not write, but for the POS now has a system as in Mintcoin, the reward is 4 times greater 1st year. This here is a bonus for miners)

   if(nHeight < YEARLY_BLOCKCOUNT)
      nRewardCoinYear = 4 * MAX_TRUST_PROOF_OF_STAKE;
   else if(nHeight < (2 * YEARLY_BLOCKCOUNT))
      nRewardCoinYear = 3 * MAX_TRUST_PROOF_OF_STAKE;
   else if(nHeight < (3 * YEARLY_BLOCKCOUNT))
      nRewardCoinYear = 2 * MAX_TRUST_PROOF_OF_STAKE;
Nobody loses.
The POS problem is associated with a failure in the old blockchain. Fix is not so simple.
Another thing, it blew off a lot of plans. Agree with this.
Thanks!

Ok. The newest update gets stuck syncing at blocks past 61000, not 61000 exactly -- if I close wallet and reopen, it doesn't sync. If I use the wallet from 9/4, it syncs without orphans now since I have "found" the old stakes. If I use the wallet from 9/18 or yesterday, it doesn't sync in entirety, and if I sync using my old wallet.dat AND delete the blockchain, it creates it's own forks while syncing and thereby creating orphans.

Addition: If I stake on Oct 4th or about there, then I am probably ok, but I need an explorer to make sure I'm not on a fork. Please get a working explorer for us, dev. Thanks Smiley

I'm on 65891, but it's been 2 hours since you posted. Seems about right with 40 sec block times, won't know for certain until the explorer is up and running, which I can wait for until you're done releasing new wallets. Thank you dev for your efforts. Smiley

It seems now the network is working correctly. If in a few days will not happen no problem, then continue to work. About the need for exchanges I remember. There was no point to do something when the POS worked with problems.

It seems now the network is working correctly. If in a few days will not happen no problem, then continue to work. About the need for exchanges I remember. There was no point to do something when the POS worked with problems.

i transferred 1.5 million coins to cryptex its been more than 24 hours and the coins still have not appeared on the exchange

Sorry, for a few days I'll be on a business trip. But it will be an opportunity to talk with experienced people on the issue with the wallet.

I really appreciate that you keep popping up trying to fix this.

I've lost track of what the point of this exercise was but I know I have a bunch of TRS I would love to use in some way someday.

I wonder if the sync problems are arising from blocks not being found often enough. CGA had a similar thing where if a block wasn't found, the wallet would show "out of sync" even though it was 100% up to date. Dev, it may be the time to get a working explorer up so we can check the current block to the explorer.

Now, if we aren't finding blocks fast enough, may I make a suggestion to reduce the min coin age to 14 days from the current 20? This is 40% faster. I don't know what else you would have to change in the code to make this work (except for the one line of code I can show you). I'd need to find (in the source) how PoS payout is calculated to make sure the payout wouldn't be affected over the course of a year.

Oct 24 should be my next stake.

got up to 70230 today. I don't think a block has been found since, if no one has staked.

Has anyone been able to sync?

can't even open the new wallet, crashes on boot:

Code:
Assertion Failed!

Program D:\.........
File: src\main.cpp, Line 2583

Expression: block.GetHash{} ==  (!fTestNet ? hashGenesisBlock : hashGenesisBlockTestNet)

any ideas? was running ok but i tried resyncing (delete appdata content) because i hit about a hundred pos blocks in a row and figured i'd forked

synced up to 70263 today. 33 blocks in almost 2 days, either no one's staking or everyone's on their own forks haha. But from experience I can say the wallet is 100% synced but just says "out of sync" because blocks haven't been minted recently.

The blocks are now generated is still slow. While it is impossible to completely solve the problem. Test several versions now, but the node has not yet updated.
Error wallet - verify, setup OS later on a virtual machine.

I was able to sync 100% today, and the wallet recognized the last block from a minute or two ago. No more red "out of sync". So like I was saying in earlier posts, syncing is 100% up to date even when the red message appears.  As Split PoS progresses, times in between blocks should get consistently smaller. Currently on block 73054.

Addition: Dev, to help alleviate times in between blocks, can I suggest sending coins to yourself once or twice (or more) per day for 20 days?  If a bunch of TRS holders do this rather than just the dev, it will be better for the network. If we see the red message, we should send coins to ourselves. Otherwise, it will take more time to overcome the pauses in the chain naturally.

This was a strange coin to participate in for me because for way too long the dev kept coming back sorta trying to fix the coin but no one really seemed to care and then it all just kind of stopped.  Dev logged in yesterday too? weird

I cant help by laugh that the Dev logged in again today.

Come on Dev.  Give us a shout out.  Even just to say merry Christmas Smiley   I only speak for myself but I personally enjoyed participating in your coin, despite its flaws, until you started giving us the silent treatment.  Where's the trust?!?  Undecided
