Hello everyone. I've decided to buy the Antminer S3, but I'm not sure what the place to order it from is. I've found it on eBay for $525 and on Amazon for the same price. Amazon is more legit in my opinion, so that's what I was going to go for. But maybe you guys know better websites to buy it from. Any advice is appreciated. Thank you in advance.

You'll need to buy some bitcoin first through an exchange, but if you go through Bitmain and pay with bitcoin, it comes out to about $400 per unit, but you have to buy at least 2 per order.

You'll pay up quite a bit through ebay or amazon, but you do get the security of being able to return it pretty easily if there's problems. Personally I don't think it's worth paying an extra $125 or more just for being better protected. Odds are low you'll have a DOA item.

Thank you for the advice everyone. I think I will buy it from Amazon. I would love to buy it directly from BITMAIN, but unfortunately I can't afford 2.

You can buy one. Contact bitmain directly via email. Explain your case.

It also depends on your location, if you are close enough and the transport charges is low enough they will let you buy 1 instead of 2..
