Maybe in the future that I would buy a hardware wallet but right now I'm pretty happy with my nice paper wallet I'm having right now.
Its a good wallet and I right now also love it more than a hardware one.

Me either I'm also planning to buy hardware wallet in the future but as of now I am very satisfied on what I have and what I am using which is online bitcoin wallet. Because it is free, and I don't have to invest with it too. But for holding bitcoins for longer time hardware wallets are good to consider but you need to invest with it too.

For me? I don't have any plans to buy such any hardware wallets since i am not an big holders who wants to hold any longer and i guess the people who needs that are those business man and big whales on tradings since they can assure thay there allocated money are in safe waet aswell us they can make sure that they will not bwe compromise by such account locking.

No I would honestly not buy an hardware wallet because I think that a hardware wallet is not worth it and its also that with an hardware wallet you are not always secure that the security is good.

You are partly right but its also depending on what kind of hardware wallet because some are pretty good protected if you are asking me.
I think its just a matter of time before they get more protected.

I also think that due to the lack of security it has its not worth investing in a hardware wallet, I rather prefer a paper wallet or a cold storage they are in my eyes much safer and for me also better to use for my amount of bitcoins.

The purpose of hardware wallet is just for the people are searching about more level security and with guarantee their amount is not disappearing caused by the another people. the worst thing the hardware wallet is can be broken or disappearing caused by the fault of owner and i can't say that is not worth in this day.

An hardware wallet probably would cost more than the amount of bitcoins i have in my wallet, so it is not for me. It is not for average users neither. They are mostly for rich people who have lots of lots of coins. Hell even they don't need em, just write down your private keys. It is the best hardware wallet.

Writing down your private key is not safer than using a well known hardware wallet like a Trezor.

You could write your private key down but you must first be sure that the key is not already compromised and that it has been created 100% offline with all traces of that key being wiped from your computer before going back online, better still would be to use a computer that has no internet connection. Then you will have to follow a similar process when signing your transactions.

Now all that work is much harder than just using a hardware wallet and it's also not something that is going to be easy for new comers to do.

I always do trust the online wallet that i am using right now and i feel very comfortable using it so i see no point of buying a hardware wallet aside from spending more money i feel that it would be more hassle instead.

All the things we use must have its own risks, the most important thing is to secure the bitcoin we have is to provide excellent security and update periodically in safeguarding our bitcoin wallet. In the world of the internet or electronic nothing could protect, because indeed there must be a gap that could on hacking

Please don't trust online wallet buddy. I have lost some btc in the online. After I have started using desktop wallet only for my transactions. Please check bitcoincore or electrum wallet to have multiple wallet address combine together in one.

Thank you finally someone else here with a little common sense.
Online wallets are not a safe option, they are a users friendly and easy option but what's easy isn't always safe.

If you need to use an online wallet to purchase coins then you should get into the habit of moving those coins to an address that you control the private keys to, or better still move them to a hardware wallet.

they cost very few btc, some of them cost only 0.1,  trezor was recently dumped in price also, so you can buy it with something more, it is the only one worth it i think

Hardware wallets are indeed nice to have and they do have a high security from what I can see. However, hardware wallets can go for up to $90. In my opinion, paper wallets that are generated on an air gapped freshly wiped computer would suffice. If you have more funds, buy a raspberry pi, install linux and Electrum on it. You can easily use it as an offline device to sign the transaction.

I have a hardware wallet and I can really say it is teh best thing to have. I f you hold at least 2 bitcoin i have to say that you must buy a hardware wallet so you can go to bed easilty.
Because storing your coins on just your pc is quite dangerous.

Spending  $99 usd on a Trezor or less than half on a Ledger wallet to secure between  $3000 & $6000 + seems like an easy choice to me

Hardware wallets are safer way to store and have a check and balance of your bitcoins. If i can afford it i will definitely buy it, to keep the market alive of hardware wallets the makers should ensure that maximum users can afford it.
