How long a sports book has been operating should be one factor in choosing where to bet but it should NOT be the only factor to consider! For example one of the older books might not offer a certain type of bet you like or maybe the odds are not as good at one or another. All of this and more should be considered when choosing where to bet.

Each of the 3 sportsbooks in my cig have reliably paid me each every withdrawal without issue. All of which I would rate as A+ books.

General reasons for why I choose each book

Nitrogen - Has the best moneylines more often than not vs all the other btc books. https://nitrogensports.eu/r/73944

Betcoin - Has tons of football matches to bet on live in game every day. http://www.betcoinpartners.com/c/1/1364

Cloudbet - I enjoy gambling on live dealer roulette and DragonTiger. https://www.cloudbet.com/en/?af_token=fcadb2e010eefc883d33cd8ad8792cb4

I agree. That's why we should warn users that Peeps Place "Ratings Guide" is not a true ratings guide but rather a disguised paid advertisement. Ratings are paid for and the guide is
sponsored by the 3 books that are rated on top.

If you want to know what are the true users opinions on books, check out the Sport Books Rankings by Users thread : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=577102.0

I liked a similar post that you made a couple of days ago and quoted it in the ratings thread. How long a book has been in existence is not the only factor. Since the bitcoin books are fairly new and with a large percentage of books opened less than a year going under, it is more important at this time. In another year or two, time in business will be irrelevant. Books that hit the 2 year period will be treated the same as far as time in business.

The books that you have listed are ranked 2,3,5 in the rating guide. Both opinions seem similar. Stop in the ratings thread when you have a chance and post your opinions. It would be appreciated by all.

BitCoinPokerBro- I brought this quote to the ratings guide.

Quote
Top 3

1. NitrogenSPorts https://nitrogensports.eu/r/73944
Awesome promo's every month, best moneylines in town, shareable betslips for those extra awesome wins. Example of sharable betslip https://nitrogensports.eu/betslip/5f4446fY0lLM2ZiWS9xQ1l2UTRKUHY3K21UUT09/r/73944/

2. Betcoin Sportsbook/Casino/Poker http://www.betcoinpartners.com/c/1/1364
Much wider range of betting options than most BTC books. A few examples would be to score, both teams to score, asian handicap, over/under from 0.5 to 7.5, double chance and many more. Betcoin also has live dealer casino games for which I unfortunately can not provide a review due to ip restrictions. Should be up to par maybe even better than other BTC live dealer options though.
Decent bonus unlocked in intervals of BTC.01

3. CloudBet - https://www.cloudbet.com/en/?af_token=fcadb2e010eefc883d33cd8ad8792cb4
Cloudbet has similar sportsbetting options to betcoin and casino games blackjack, lottery, dice, roulette, all with live dealers. Personally I enjoy live lottery/dice and roulette quite fun indeed. Plus great progressive jackpot slots
Decent Bonus unlocked in intervals BTC.01

DirectBet- You should spend more time on your book instead of making false allegations. The player complaints continue to mount and your site is down again. You should really do something about holding bets and not allowing us to cancel. There have been many complaints of you holding bets and this is the latest. Being new to bookmaking isn't an excuse for holding bets 20 minutes or more allowing you to get a better read on the game before accepting the bet.

Quote
Can you explain why sometimes it takes forever to say you received the bet?  It's very frustrating with live betting.  Blockchain recorded my bet at 6:25, but it still hasn't been confirmed or assigned odds 7 minutes later.  So much can change in 7 minutes and sometimes you are instant, some times you arent?

https://blockchain.info/address/1GcLd4gthgVApX8uqxZz1dyjFW98cnBqgR/

Quote
10 minutes still not confirmed.  http://www.directbet.eu/BetStatus.cshtml?BetID=1GcLd4gthgVApX8uqxZz1dyjFW98cnBqgR/  Are you just going to wait to see how the match goes before you confirm?

Quote
20 minutes this is ridiculous.  The match will be decided before the bet gets processed and there is no way for me to cancel out.  I just have to accept whatever you give me when you decide to accept the bet?  This is unnacceptable :-/

DirectBet- You should spend more time on your book instead of making false allegations.

"false allegations" ?

If you go to www.PeepsPlace.com you will see that there are currently 3 Bitcoin Sportbooks that pay for banners. These books are also the top 3 rated books in Peeps Place "ratings guide".

This is not a coincidence.

Peeps Place has already admitted several times that he is getting paid by these books to promote them in forums.

Peeps Place - Your activity is fraudulent. You should put a disclaimer next to your "ratings guide" that it's a paid advertisement.

74.5% of the people here think that Peeps Place does not have the creditability to rate Bitcoin Sportbooks because he is getting paid by his top rated books to promote them in forums.

What do you think ?

Come and vote in our thread : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=393147.1400

DirectBet- Bitcoinlivebets was predicted to go under and a short time later, they went under. DirectBet was then predicted to be the next book to go under, rated "C-" or higher, and you started a smear campaign.

You are new to bookmaking and didn't even understand the difference between "action" and "listed" bets in MLB until recently. Your book has the most individual complaints out of any book. The down time in the last few days has to be frustrating to players.

The ratings in the rating guide may not be perfect but with help from the posters in the thread we called out some scam books before going under. The last was bitcoinlivebets where it was predicted that it would be the next book to go under. It was posted that DirectBet would be the next book to go under for books rated "C-" and above.

This has angered DirectBet and the herd of followers. Be careful of new posters backing DirectBet as well as posters such as the one above that posts solely about DirectBert. These new posters have been used to taint ratings in another user generated poll.

DirectBet was the 9th rated book in the user generated poll until a herd of new users started giving top ratings to DirectBet with their vote. Not only that, but many then gave low ratings to the top books to bring their overall rating down.

None of the top rated books in our thread have gone under but the bottom rated books continue to go under.

Here are some things in our thread for books that have gone under. It's not good for the bitcoin community and in no way do I want this to happen, but DirectBet is the next book predicted to go under. There are many reasons and if anyone wants I can post them.

Quote
Quote
The only thing keeping StakeBTC from being a "F", because of that bonus, is that they haven't had one complaint as far as payouts.

Quote
I think that bitcoinlivebets is at the top of the list of the next book to go under although I hope it's not the case.

Quote
I'm not going to put Coinbet on our recommended list at this time.

Beware of scammers.

If you see someone who rates Bitcoin Sportbooks from a self moderated thread, you can safely assume he is a scammer.

Only scammers use self moderated threads. Like dictators, they delete whatever they don't want you to see.

ok, thanks for the precaution. I just wanted to make some fun betting, now I will be more suspicious. Maybe this happens because of BTC and anonymity everywhere, and these kind of scammers appear.

At the end of the day you've really just got to try them yourself, especially if you want to be certain you're going for the sportsbook that suits you best.

Not sure about these rankings being posted around but Cloudbet.com and Nitrogensports.eu are definitely some of the fresher, more popular ones. We're not affiliated with them or anything, this is just an objective opinion based on what we've seen in the industry.
