That guy was scamming on the internet since the 1990s, and already went to jail / had a record and probably will be back out in a few years. That's European prison for you - it's like a gated country club compared to American prison. A lot of European countries let you out on the weekends, let you decorate your cell and even play video games / browse the internet.  BTW - that photo is from a "maximum" (most strict) security prison in Britain and yet it looks better than a lot of college dormitories in the United States. It's only like this in some GB prisons though and GB prison system is considered the most pleasant to do time in Europe anyway. Want to see European prison check Moscow Black Dolphin, La sante prison in France or Tarnow prison in Poland. All these scammers should be sent there. |

I could not believe Josh Garza has not blown the others away.
He will get there once your poll has more visitors and we start adding numbers.
I think GAW easily stole more than anyone else.
Bit I say *think*, and I was there and gave some money myself.
The thing about Josh is the pathological lies AND convincing so many people much smarter than me to go along.
Hell, he had some *smart* experienced crypto people on the hook, but the most was surely crypto noobs like me.
I will say that GAW brought my attention to BTC, so there is that.

Transaction fees go to the pools and the pools decide to pay them to the miners. Anything else, including off-chain solutions are stealing and not the way Bitcoin was intended to function.
Make the block size set by the pool. Pool = miners and they get the choice.

defend yourself with facts and I will remove you... Serious, you need to remove HyperStake from this list. I like this thread, but its losing credibility by having HyperStake listed. If anything, HyperStake crew spots and calls out scam coins or anything that is scam related. If you visit ##HyperStake, you will notice list of credible members that you might recognize from BCT that will vouch for HyperStake and the devs involved. defend yourself with facts and I will remove you... Hmmm. Alright, well I will assume the accusation is the way that HyperStake was created. Me and another person, David, held a large share of TRK, the dev was one of those create a fake account devs that stopped posting after they cashed out. The coin was declining, and community dieing. I decided to takeover the coin to fix it, but instead of continuing as TRK, to fork it into its own separate chain called HyperStake. A fake fud crew came out with scam allegations, and then conveniently a group of copy cat coins were released a week later. The allegations were mainly that we "premined" the coin, because it was a fork launch and that we already had holdings of it. This was well known before the fork (why would we fork a coin we did not have interest in?), and everything was public from the beginning. Fact is that I, and David, weren't even in top ten holders at launch. Not sure why this would mean I would rot in prison, seeing as everything was announced in the public domain before it happened, nobody was ever given inside information, David and I are now both in the top 3 holders of the coin still (after 6 months) and have both not once sold any meaningful amount of the coin. Commits still happen a few times a week on HYP, and the coin continues to have a respectful community. Not sure how else to defend myself, and honestly don't really care that much about being on the list, I just thought it was funny that one of the troll accounts created to fud HYP got us on this list (look at eyeswideopen account history). Not sure why they said the "entire hyperstake crew" or even hyperstake at all for that matter. I've lost money on HYP still. I stick around because I like the people.  |

Most epic fraud of the year = asiacoin. I admit when Gox was robbed, or Zetacoin really didn't have the deal with Safaricom, I already knew that, but I still feel for those people that didn't do the research or trusted the wrong people. With Asiacoin, nobody out there warned anyone. It was a madness lasting between 1-10 of march. They secretly premined 30 billion coins and partially dumped for a few hundreds btc.
LOLLLLLL Please add BootstrapCoin and BootstrapCoinDev to the list if it's not too late. He just scammed btc out of a bunch of people on an ico for his coin. Then he double attacked the coin, inflated the supply of the coin, and tried to dump it on an exchange.
