Looking good so far. I've made some mad bones with this coin already.
You really should've used a different name though.

Dev what are your thoughts on renaming this the coin after the POW is over. I think it would actually be very helpful to the coins progress, If this is a community coin I think it is deserving of a vote. I dont think anyone likes being associated with a scam.

Honestly, I am open to the idea of it. Let me know what you guys have in mind and we can compile a poll/take a vote on it. I personally did not think re-using the name would be a concern for most people but it seems the overwhelming majority would prefer something different -- in which case I would be happy to accommodate that.

Like you said, following the PoW period would be the best time to implement a "re-branding" per say. Let me know your thoughts

This name is good.It doesn't have anything to do with previous junk COINS.
Read and identify in detail.Don't easily misled by people.

fresh from ccex trollbox:

lepsen21: @CK Dev, so u was behind first onyx
CK Dev: Yes
CK Dev: I am behind a lot of coins actually
lepsen21: @CK Dev, why did u leave it was good coin
CK Dev: lepsen21 - All my coins are good, its just whether or not they were for pump and dumping, CKcoin is legit though now and I gave up P&Ds trying to wake up the community to it as well Wink
lepsen21: @CK Dev, do u support onyx2
CK Dev: @lepsen21, Of course, It is not under my management though, but they used my code
lepsen21: @CK Dev, can you speak with bittrex and make sure onyx2 replace onyx pls
CK Dev: @lepsen21, Yes I can try, I would recommend you ask the actual dev of ONYX2 to as well

Well, that is certainly interesting to read. Hopefully readers don't get the wrong impression and assume he is somehow involved with ONYX2. We will have a rich list out soon so you guys can more easily see coin distribution.

We are working on it. We have been unable to get in touch with Bittrex staff because they have been out of town (for several days now).

Actually very simple. If there is a lot of volume in c - cex exchange.Bittrex will take the initiative to add it.This coin is very good.I don't know why such a low price? What's the problem?

Give it time  Cheesy

I assume most people don't want to purchase a coin which is inflating an additional 1 million coins every 24 hours. Lets see where we are at after the proof of work phase. This will also be when we implement a re-branding (if necessary and requested) along with Tor.

May be some misunderstanding onyx2 has relationship with the old onyx.I don't think it's necessary to do more to explain. We should first learn to read. You will find that this is a brand new COINS.If prices continue to rise will have a lot of people buy. This is just beginning.People don't know about it.

No actual application project support?

man, what does this mean?
I mean, every coin has at least one actual use.Such as applied to the game or shopping and so on.

This community is not active.Dev didn't have enough time to interact.

The truth is most alt-coins actually don't have any inherent utility outside of speculation/gambling. With that said, we are working on it.

UPDATE:

There will be a hard fork at block 15,000

This was done in anticipation of our addition to Bittrex. We fixed some minor issues in the code to make sure our transition to PoS would go smoothly. The new compiled Windows wallet is ready and the new source is ready.

Windows Users

1. Make a back up copy of your wallet (File->Back up wallet)
2. Download new wallet
2. Go into C:\Users\user\AppData\Roaming\Onyxcoin and delete everything except for your "wallet.dat"
3. Download new wallet and run. Enjoy

Linux Users

Download and compile new source

WINDOWS WALLET: http://www.theonyxcoin.com/qtwallet.zip
LINUX SOURCE: https://github.com/NewOnyxCoin/NewOnyxCoin

NOTE: Your old client will work up until block 15,000; however, it is still recommended you update as soon as possible to prevent any problems

Thanks
