Hello,
Another question to XPM... Are we going to see how it is going to die this year or hold it? Are there (mad) scientists who still believe in this coin? There was lot of hope in Primes back in those days...Someone still mining this  Huh Huh Huh

XRP is trying to be sold off to the big boys.

[fake market capital valuation or not, still sellable to the institutions]

The plan is for RIPS to be the consumer buyin coin, via bankwire services.

tied to consumer bank accounts / credit cards

major XRP buyers would be banking corps in that case.

then they can manage the crypto economy via RIPS.

Uh...XRP is Ripple.
XPM (what the OP is writing about) is PrimeCoin.

Anyhow, I think XPM isn't as appealing as other coins because it's backbone for mining is with cloud computing. I think it still has some future viability, but as a long-term "asset" it falls short on my radar.

Do we have a working open source GPU miner for this coin yet? Last good GPU miner I used took 10% off the top for the developer.

Alll GPU miners are closed source afaik.

Thought so, I stopped mining this because of this very reason. XPM needs open source GPU miners.

It needs more than that. Buyers would be a good start.

Hello,
Another question to XPM... Are we going to see how it is going to die this year or hold it? Are there (mad) scientists who still believe in this coin? There was lot of hope in Primes back in those days...Someone still mining this  Huh Huh Huh

So what is the new name?  And just to be clear this thread is about Primecoin and not Ripple correct?

Hello,
Sorry for the misunderstanding, but I am asking about Prirmecoin Smiley not other coin. People who are from the days XPM was hit know what I am talking about. There are still people who are interested in XPM and to mine it. This is the reason I am asking
